  1. good start

  2. Tekkers there Pogba
Stick to the social media, you useless cunt.

  3. Yeah Pogba, fuck you, you're terrible.

1-1, keep the tempo up. But knowing United, back to sitting back for them.

  4. Valencia getting done by Son to much on the right. But we have been good and are well in this game.

  5. Just for the record, that kind of a push done by Lukaku on Davis in the first half was a free kick for Tottenham. But not when Spurs' player does it.

  6. 2-1 United! Herrera.

  7. Spurs players look out of gas. As much as I like Lingard, I think Martial or Rashford would kill the game if they come on now.

  8. Oh yeah. We’re foing to Wembley

  9. Good result but not quite as good as Alty's! Champions of the Evostick Premier Division, back to the Conference North next season. 2-0 away to Grantham Town.

He was very good after an initial poor start, same with everyone else

  12. Herrera was absolutely fantastic today easily MOTM imo. What a performance! Also thought Sánchez was great. Shout out to Mourinho got his selection, tactics and subs spot on today. And we attached with intent!

I'm more impressed with Smalling not gifting a goal or Jones not injuring himself. So naturally I'm happy.

Sanchez was good, Herrera was great. With a pair of new fullbacks, United should look good again. Also cover for Matic is much needed. He looks so tiered at the end of the last couple of games.

  14. Yeah that’s my only gripes the FBs were awful! Loved how Pogba just rag dolled Dembele off the ball before Sánchez great header

  15. Jose starting to get it spot on vs. big teams lately. Probably a season and a half too late, but it's promising if we are to stick with him next year.

    - Herrera proving he's still a very valuable member of this squad.

    - Valencia showing signs of being on the way out - what a servant he's been to this football club.

    - Sanchez settling in and pulling up his socks, finally.

    Bring on Southampton/Chelsea!

That was my only gripe with Jose last season and before. Results against big teams. We’ve beat them all this season I believe. To drunk to check! He will defo be here next season. Need consistency against the shite of the league and will be there next season challenging no doubt!

  17. Highlights of 15 year old English CB Mengi making his u18s debut against Pool. Definitely one for the future. Wearing No5. Look out for his crunching tackle on 11. And his pure dominance in the air. And composure on the ball.

I'm really excited for this guy and I REALLY really like that he's more of a "Winger" and not an Inside forward/Striker like Rashford & Martial and he's not a #10 guy like Lingard/Mata. Hope we can see a bit of him this upcoming pre-season!

Have no doubt he will go on tour. Maybe even get a run out IF! Second is secure. Could be our answer to the RW in the future. Maybe get some mins next season in the cup. Will be a key player getting us promoted again next season! With some more of the talent that gets promoted from the 18s. The u23s are gonna get a huge clear out in the summer!

  23. Be very disappointed if we sold Martial this summer, I know it has not really worked out but he is still arguably our best young player on his day in first team.

If we lose him I feel it is very short-sighted by Mourinho, it won't effect him but more the next manager who follows. Not that he cares about that but if I was Woody I'd be trying to stop this from inevitably happening.

Woody and Mourinho don’t want to sell him. We have offered him a contract he rejected it. Let’s see what happens next with negotiations.

Doesn't want to sell him. Doesn't want to play him. Never wants to play him in his natural position and wonders why he underperforms when he comes in from the cold?

    Quite the set of contradictions.

That, I agree with. When he was given a consistent run in the team, he was excellent. Goals, Dribbling, the works. Now, he is a bit inconsistent. Of course he is. He is still young, but arguably the best dribbler I've seen in a United shirt in a while.
He is rejecting contracts because of his playtime. It's natural, but I'd do everything possible to keep him.

Ronaldo will come to Manchester United in June 2018???
    January 18, 2018 (11:02 CET)
Contacts Real Madrid and Manchester United have been in contact for days. Both clubs are trying to reach an agreement on the possible transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo from the white team to the red devils.
    They want Cristiano Ronaldo out

    Manchester United, the only suitor
But apart from United, no great European club is willing to catch their fingers with the signing of a footballer who will soon become an old glory. Not only because of the amounts they demand in Concha Espina, but because of the stratospheric and exorbitant salary of the striker, which does not adjust to the performance that this season is giving on the pitch. But the British do not think to go crazy either. They do not intend to pay more than 100 million euros, and that if Cristiano is willing to not upload his current record.

Martial's natural position is left wing. He's never played more than a handful of games at any club at centre forward. His movement isn't good enough, or natural enough there. In fact nor is he hugely clamouring to play there. He needs to play more though, and that's what he's asking for. That said, Sánchez and Lingard are on fire, makes it hard to simply drop them.

    Just because.

The very last thing you do is write L'pool off in Europe. Regardless of the opposition. That should be a simple rule of thumb for any seasoned watchers of European football.
So, as it looks odds on a L'pool- Madrid final after the first legs of the semi, as promised back in August after the following discussion after you lost the Super Cup to Real, I have to ask .....

Still all as bullish and confident about L'pool having no chance against Madrid the final? (Indulge me that it will be that final as it currently looks.).

If they don't three-peat it'll be heck of a bloody good side that stops them. By far and away the best side in Europe and with Barca losing Neymar, La Liga has just opened up even more to them.

That said, I'd love to see L'pool or City in a knock-out shoot-out against this current side. Quite fancy our chances against anyone in Europe under the lights and they'd be no exception with the speed to hit them going the other way. Be one heck of a game for the purists.

Put it this way. Whoever faces these Reds in Europe this year will be as worried about L'pool as L'pool are them.

*Edit* Big believer in omens playing a part at this level. Convinced Barcelona are psychologically beat before they play us as soon as the draws made. The Catalan press drag it up that they just can't beat L'pool for love nor money. Never scored against us the Nou Camp. And I think we're still the only English side to win there. Twice over. (Or have someone else done that the last 10 years or so? I lose track.). Seen Messi 4 times live now and he's barely had a kick. If I didn't know he was a serious contender for GOAT I'd think he was 'just another guy' off those games. Similar Madrid. Great record against them including being the last side to beat them in a European Cup/ CL final.

Like I say, I'd fancy our chances against anyone in Europe. We just go together. Which makes the last decade's almost constant absence from the big tourney all the more disgraceful.

Basically yeah, think I actually have bet on Madrid to win every game in the CL so far this season and it has worked out well. Think it would be closer than I would have given it then but still think Madrid will win the CL as I have all year

  40. Arsenal presser-

Mourinho on Sanchez, "We needed a little bit more mental aggressiveness. I don't like the January market but it was a case of now or never."

Mourinho on Sanchez, "Next season I'm sure he's going to be great for us after a pre season."

Jose Mourinho retorted "no chance" when the subject of David De Gea leaving #MUFC this summer was brought up

"This season's better than last season," Jose says. "More points, more victories, more goals, less goals conceded, not consistently but many, many times better football, so I think there was a clear evolution in the team and hopefully next season we can do better." #MUFC

Eveyone fit except Romero! Dave stays

  41. David de Gea on his incredible journey to being the best in the world | Daily Mail Online

Interview with de gea. Best line in it is from Ander Herrera though "Before games, I'm a bit crazy. I get tense, I shake, dance. David pats me on the back, shrugs and says, "No, Ander, stand still, don't worry, it can't go wrong. If they shoot, they cannot score because I'm in goal". It's like nothing has happened.

Yeah that would be terrible! Class on his day but can’t stay fit and ain’t get any younger. For what it’s worth Mitten done a piece today saying the Utd hierarchy expect Martial to stay.

Really hope TFM, Tuanzebe, Andreas will be around the squad next season. Would be delighted with Fred. Been watching him a fair bit lately. Would be a good signing for the squad. Reminds me of a less defensive version of Fernandinho.

We don't need any more attackers unless people actively want to leave. Two mids, and two full backs

Defo don’t need any. I will be happy with what we have going into next season with the attackers we have. Think Andreas will be a CM option going off what Mourinho said. 2 FBs 1 at the very least and defo 2 CMs!

  48. Mourinho on Wenger: “After all I did in football, changing clubs, countries, I have to admit I would love that kind of job profile that Sir Alex and Arsene had, but unfortunately he will be the last. There is no chance.” #mufc [Astro]

Mourinho: “The media don’t let it be possible anymore. The way you influence public opinion, it’s impossible to do it. Also some of the new owners, they don’t know what is the tradition, meaning and positive things of being a manager in a club for a long period.” #mufc [Astro]

Mourinho: “Big clubs know we need big rivals to be better, to grow up. United knows that period until 2005-06, Arsene and Arsenal were fundamental by being the big rivals of United and Sir Alex. By knowing that, the club will show Arsene the respect he deserves.” #mufc [Astro]

Mourinho: “I knew the difference between the United I found in my first spell in 2004, and I know the United i found the second time. I knew I was coming to a situation where the club and team were not ready to attack titles immediately like other clubs.” #mufc [Astro]

Mourinho: “When I come in 2004, it was just Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Rio Ferdinand, Vidic, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs, that was the United. It was a different United I found when I came back in 2013.” #mufc [Astro]

Mourinho: “That’s the reason why we’re going to get the best position in the Premier League for five years. If we finish second of third, we’ll be in the best position of the last five years.” #mufc [Astro]

Mourinho on Man City: “I don’t think they took the season by storm. It was the consequence of what they did in the past years. If people thinks about the numbers that they invest this season, ok, great, but you can’t forget what they invest in the previous seasons.” #mufc [Astro]

Mourinho on City: “The majority of the players that were champions this year, they were champions before. Kompany, Silva, Aguero, they’re not new additions. There’s a nucleus of players there that was an investment made with Mancini.” #mufc [Astro]

Mourinho on City: “They were champions with Mancini and Pellegrini. The club was ready, then they bring a fantastic coach, then the coach brings fantastic players, then the team was the best team by far. But it was a storm that was in the atmosphere for many years.” #mufc [Astro]

Mourinho on challenging for the title: “It depends on us, we’re ready for one more step, one more evolution, but it doesn’t depend only on us, but also the other contenders, especially the one that is in front of us. Let’s see what we can do.” #mufc [Astro]

Mourinho: “I’m very consistent and focused. Sometimes when I see some kids are a little bit up and down, I feel quite frustrated, that’s why I don’t forget points we’ve lost against Newcastle, Huddersfield, Stoke, West Brom. That’s due to the mental inconsistency.” #mufc [Astro]

Mourinho: “What matters isn’t my relation with the press or the way i present myself in press conferences, or the way i fight or don’t fight with people on the touchline or the media. It’s about my day by day, the way I want to do things. I’m better than before.” #mufc [Astro]
