Not if United beat Chelsea 4-0. :^)

Can’t see them taking six points from there last 2 with European ties sandwiched in between.

  3. Pogba for Varane+some money is a good trade I think. Woodward needs to start dicking around and go back to basics. To build a great team you first need to build a solid team, and solid team starts at the back.

  4. Katie Zelem peno to make it 1-0 https://twitter.com/manutdwomen/stat...996961283?s=21

Amy Turner makes it 2-0 https://twitter.com/manutdwomen/stat...341898752?s=21

Charlie Devlin makes it 3-0 https://twitter.com/manutdwomen/stat...143731202?s=21

29’ GOAL! Great scenes as @MarthaH19 scores her first goal of the season! She wins the penalty and steps up herself to make it 4-0 #MUWomen

You also need to control the midfield. That's where I would start

Dominate the midfield, you take the pressure of the defenders and create a midfield platform.

So as long as you could get Varane and a midfield controller that's a dream

  6. Glad Herrera is back. He's the key to our full team. Not sure about Bailly though. Still think he's a liability

Not to mention Young.... again..... against Hazard potentially.

  8. United line up
De Gea, Young, Shaw, Bailly, Lindelof, Matic, Herrera, Pogba, Mata, Rashford, Lukaku
Subs: Romero, Darmian, Rojo, McTominay, Pereira, Martial, Sanchez.

If we are set up with 2 strikers and Mata in the hole we won't need to worry about them.

Yes we will because we're not going to dominate the possession. We'll sit back and counter like always, inviting pressure.

Tbh any time Young is starting I worry, he's a walking liability lately.

  11. Young against Hazard lol. This is gonna be Messi vs Jones all over again.

Didn't young pocket him last time?

  13. I’m sure the same old shit gets rolled out about Young and who he will be facing. Despite having good games against Hazard and Salah this season and last. Bit tiresome tbh. Yes he gets caught out but usually not defending 1v1

Yeah. He gets done by overloads and one twos. But he's usually pretty good one on one Salah was supposed to have murdered him last time they met. Not saying he's class or should be first choice. But lets not overdo it

  16. The Glazers must love some of our fans, still defending Young this season bloody hell.... pockets Salah so well that he lets Mane run off and score. Great.

  17. I believe that a team's foundation starts at the back. One single mistake from a defender can define a result, no matter how great the team plays. Without trustworthing defenders, there's no way to build a competitive team.

Guardiola's reign at England only begun when he bought Ederson, Walker, Mendy and Danilo in a single transfer window.

The difference between last season Liverpool and this current team with Van Dijk and Alisson is brutal.

Mourinho and Van Gaal never got the defenders they wanted. Both of them sacrificed a more attacking style in order to ensure defensive safety.

Let's hope Ole gets his players. And not only CB's: FB is one of the most demanding positions in football. To count only with Shaw, Dalot and Young for an entire season is madness.

Mane was on the other side of the pitch and not his problem

Some of us prefer to use our heads than rather than angrily masturbate into a keyboard like yourselves. Again no one said he should be first choice,we just dn't moan every single game needlessly like yourself an exagerrate everything. Not sure what its go to with the Glazers either. A bizarrely idiotic point for you to make.

Dalot was absolutely shite in his last few games defensively, he's considerably worse than Young on that front. You moaned when Jones was there too. He has to play someone ffs

Guardiola had complete control of the midfield before that. Only Ederson and Walker were lynch pins. Mendy has been injured for big chunks and Danilo was a failure

The only CM Guardiola bought was Gundogan. Fernandinho, David Silva and KDB were already at the club.

The point is that this signings allowed Guardiola to get rid of players he didn't trust and couldn't get the job done (Bravo, Clichy and Zabaleta). The goofy defensive mistakes of the first season ended.

Alisson. And a team thats evolved both its style and is another year on in its development and experience from last year to take the next step to a whole other level. Along with better quality depth. But Alisson’s the major difference to the goals against record.

Goalkeeper was always the problem. Not the defending. van Dijk was a part of the run to last years final.

Utd already have the top class goalie.

  23. Apzilucueta is a fucking pest...damn. he's a brilliant full back but lukaku finally putting his physicality to actually use.

Yeah, GK is not a ploblem for us. The point is that to have a solid defensive line is the first step to build a competitive team.

  25. Pogba is such a frustrating player. When he's in the mood, he can be absolutely brilliant.

He's been fouled like 14 times so far.

  26. Wtf De Gea

  27. Yeah, we just gave Chelsea an entirely undeserved goal

  28. Summer can’t come soon enough for DDG. His heads just gone. On another note Lukaku and especially Mata have been excellent.

  29. Pogba is winning every duel in midfield also.

  30. At this point, I'd say we bench DDG for Romero. Like, seriously. His form has been Absymal.

  31. Every single bloody game we do the same old crap, start off well and put them under pressure. then sink deeper and deeper, their goal was coming regardless of the De Gea mistake which was yet another howler.

Wat have we actually created apart from the goal again... nothing. You've got to create more than this and at least test the other keeper.

  32. Like I subtly suggested the other day, DDG probably needs moving on. Been a brilliant servant but he looks half the keeper these days, and he’s out of the Casillas mould; heavily reliant on reflexes and agility. Mentality also very very questionable.

Id have a chat with Oblak.

We were looking comfortable tho. Like, Chelsea never looked like scoring...until de Gea made it possible

ZZ talking bollocks as usual. It was a close game than we had pretty good control of until keeper had a mare

  36. Apart from DDG mistake, we allowed Rudiger too much space and time to shoot.

DDG is just going though a bad spell.

If we had binned him off when this first happened to him all those years ago, we'd have never had a world class keeper for so long.

He's spent years saving our ass, least we can do is have his back

He just needs the summer to get his head right. God knows why anyone wants him gone it’s madness and you have no chance of getting Oblak after just signing a new long term contract and admitting he wants to stay there for years just like Sail did.

  39. Bailly's injured once again...Christ...

Totally agree with that, he needs a rest, so why not let him start it early. It is clear with the last 3 games where he is not 100% with it mentally, yes he has still made saves but there are lapses as well. He's not really been right all season and needs a long rest to get his mind back in gear.

  41. The contract scenario is not helping. Errors like these happened last time around too (Fax Machine). Need to get it sorted, clear his head, have the summer off and come back rested. 3 errors leading to goals in the last four matches.

But hell, don't want to get rid of him - mainly because I believe it's his head not being in the game rather than his game suddenly becoming like Joe Hart. And the fact that we can't afford to replace him on top of the already crazy rebuild.

  43. Top 4 done now imo. Played well one half and looked dead the second half especially after 60 mins. Time for the kids to make some appearances.

I honestly don't remember DDG having such a poor run of form since his debut season. And if I do recall, he won United player of the year the same season his RM move was thwarted by the legendary fax machine.

  45. Us, Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal are doing everything in their power to not go to UCL. Unbelievable.

I like how Mike and TOD just ignored you because they are so stuck on their opinion that we didn't create that scenario for ourselves.

We were sat just in front of our box, not closing down and somehow I'm talking bollocks that it wasn't coming. I'm done seriously. People here live in bubble land, go celebrate the 6th finish lads with Jones and Smalling on 5 year contracts. Honestly, I'm done people, adios.

What are you fucking babbling on about now?

I'm sure we'll see back here tomorrow morning again. I wish you were truly done because you offer absolutely nothing of value the majority of the time. But I'm sure we'll hear you repeat the same shit again even though nothing can change yet
