Cristiano Ronaldo's composure....WTF?

  1. Cristiano Ronaldo's composure....WTF?

    Cristiano Ronaldo's composure....WTF?-fhjzf.png

He has a composure of 10. What the heck were Sports Interactive thinking. Danny Welbeck....Danny Welbeck has a composure of 11! This is a bordeline embarrassment. How has his composure dropped that much from last year?

  2. messi has a 18 composure. what a justice.

  3. Well, tho I agree his composure is tad low, I agree with SI on this one. How often do you see CR placing shots ? He always kick ball with power. Also, this is SI's attempt to finally make Messi better than Ronaldo.

  4. i agree its a bit low, maybe 12 13 and finishing around 15 16 not 1
well on the other hand he does need 7 8 shots to score a goal
or at the Euros we was even more worse, over 40 shots and 3 goals

  5. Like Paetojia said, Ronaldo doesn't put many chances away he just has a lot of them and when he does nearly all are powerful shots driven into the goal.

Got to admit, I think Ronaldo's stats are spot on there!

He's also awesome at taking penalties and that certainly takes composure.

  8. well about 12 or 13 at the most would be about right

  9. I agree his composure is a bit low. Look at his goal in the 2 all draw against Barcelona when Benzema played him in, he stayed calm and composed, you can literally see him pick his spot, and he coolly blasts it past Victor Valdes on his near post. Again against Barcelona, in the Super Cup when Madrid won 2-1, he flicks it over Pique, and his next touch is a bad one, and he shows great composure to spin round, regain control of the ball, take another touch to set it up, pick his spot, and put it past Valdes.

You can also just look at his penalty stats to show he has good composure. Penalties are as intense as it gets in a football match, and Ronaldo's records show he isn't one to lose his head, he stays calm, and more often than not, scores.

The last thing I'll say is, you're never going to agree with everything SI says, you're not going to agree with everything in the game. If something bothers you, that is what the editor is for. Some people may consider it cheating, but in my opinion, if you're only changing some attributes by small amounts, ie giving Ronaldo 12 or 13 composure, then there is nothing wrong with that. If you're giving Andre Santos 173 CA on the other hand...

Not being funny, but Ronaldo doesn't pick his spot. Ever. He just smashes it and hopes it goes in. Don't get me wrong, most the time it works, but you can't say Ronaldo picks a spot when he scores.

I disagree. I find it hard to believe he could achieve all he has, goal wise, if all he ever did was smash and hope. I think he is a world class player, who has world class mental abilities to match. It may look like he is just hitting the ball as hard as he can, but I think he knows exactly what he is doing. So, in my opinion, I CAN say he picks a spot when he scores.

Sure he knows what he's doing but he does just smash the ball at the goal he just has great ball control. It's not like he flicks the ball around the gk and taps it in he just hits it hard and straight. He scores a lot of goals because he has a lot of chances, penalties he takes, free kicks he takes, he has a lot of shots at goal too, in a league that lacks depth.

You'll find composure isn't as key as you think it is at scoring goals, it's brilliant for tricky little forwards that worm their way into the area but most 'power' players that like to hit it hard it's not all that important.

  13. "Composure The player’s steadiness of mind and ability, particularly with the ball. When faced with a big goalscoring chance or heavy pressure defensively, a player with high composure will be able to keep his head and more often than not make an intelligent decision which is beneficial to the team. "............ That is from official FM quide. I think Christiano is well composed when 1v1 keeper situations, even more when 1vs defender/s, so such low value is a mistery for me. Yes, he takes a lots long distanse smashes, but in the box he is far more accurate.

  14. Yes, Yes, Falcao, Messi, Benzema, Gomez too, ale are just smashing the ball at the goal, good story bro.

Most of his goal were not even "hard" shots and were at medium speed....Man, stop talking about things you know nothing.

When he back heeled that goal he just smashed it?? Lol
He wasn't even facing the goal for god sake!
Recieves ball, players all around him and within a split second his mind decides this is getting backheeld, and that's a guy with no composure?

    Wow!

  17. Cristiano should have composure at least 15....just look his finishing and his success at penalties. I think is no need to talk about pressure, he can handle, every match!

For me, personally is cris better player, than messi. He is tall, fast, very strong, very skilled, also very reliable when he take the penalty and free kick...amazing player! Off course is messi also fantastic player, right now the best of the world...but ronaldo is like ibrahimović, he will scores in england, spain, italy, france...

I love players like ibra, hulk, ronaldo, falcao....they are real beasts!

  18. Messi best in the world, ronaldo second best in the world... then the rest, enough said.

  19. Absolute nonsense, 10?? For a man whos scored 200+ in 300 odd games for United and Real Madrid. You dont score that many goals and not have good composure infront of goal. He very rarely misses 1 on 1s, he occasionally chips the keeper, i could go on. Just because he doesnt side foot the ball often doesnt mean his he isnt placing the ball. Look at his penalties for example, he uses his laces and every time but he hits the corner of the net, thats no fluke for me.

  20. I think that's very strange. For people that say he deserves that stat because he rarely places his shots, composure isn't to do with placing shots. It's to do with 1v1 goalkeeper situations which I do believe Ronaldo is quite good at...
