Forwards for Tottenham

  1. Forwards for Tottenham

I have just completed my first season with Tottenham (won the League, yay!).

Anyway, I immediatly sold off Scott Parker, Clint Dempsey, Aaron Lennon, and Jermain Defoe as they were dead wood last season I (Scott Parker managed like 4 games in between injuries)

    My Squad now is
GK: Lloris and some young dude from Birmigham
Wingbacks, Kyle Walker, Davide Stanton (back up, Assou-Ekotto, Kyle Naughton)
CB Jan Vertongen, Youannes Kaboul, (Back up Jan Kirchoff, Steven Caulker)
MC: Sandro and Mousassa Dembele (Back up Tom Huddleston, Jake Livermoore)
AMC: Gylfi Sigurdsson, (backup Alan Dzagoev, Adyran)
Fowards, Gareth Bale, Adebeyor, Wellington Nem (no real backup)

I have 60million to spend, plus about 550k extra per week for wage budget

I play three strikers, middle is DLF and the two are right out on the wing up front, playing as inside forwards. (Gareth Bale was on fire there, like 14 Goals and 20 odd assists) Wellington Nem did ok last season on the right he is still a bit young and I want him more as a rotation player for now, and he is probably more suited as DLF. I rotated that right wing/stiker position around but no one really stood out. I want Hulk, but I don't really think he is worth the 55 million odd and 120k+ wages he would ask for so anyone have any suggestions?

I also need another English player after selling off those three to keep my squad above 8. Kinda didn't really think about that.

  2. I would buy Falcao over Hulk. Better and probably a tad cheaper.

As for the English player I would probably try and prise Danny Welbeck or daniel sturridge off them. Not good enough to be starters yet by any means but are great prospects.

  3. Get some "beasty" forward like Doumbia, Cavanni, Hulk, Falcao, Demba Ba, Vágner Love.. also u may train Gylfi as a striker and try him as DLF, he was amazing for me in FM 12 with similar 3 forward tactic. As for englishmen, Sterling, Sinclair and Zaha are pretty good as inside forwards with some development. Also scout James Ward-Prowse for midfield backup, he's a huge talent.
