work permit for a player already transfered to my club?!?

  1. work permit for a player already transfered to my club?!?

i bought sime vrsaljko for my save but i have now noticed it says " WP " next to his name?? which means needs work permit well he has been at my club since aug 12, now nov 12 and i dont know how to get him a work permit as i always thought if he couldnt have a work permit the transfer wouldnt have gone threw?? sorry if asking a silly question i have never had this problem before

  2. New one on me. never seen this and I have signed 2 young non eu player since the last patch (13.2.2)

  3. Sometimes this happens, the only way is to either wait until he gain nationallity or keep offering him contracts and hope that he gets one after accepting a contract.

  4. I would recommend you send him off to an affiliate in a country where they gain double nationality status earlier - such as Croatia or Belgium. I have heard Croatia is the fastest - (Although they don't become member of the EU until July 1st, 2013), so if you are in season 1, then send him to Belgium.

  5. I have the same problem with my Cardiff City save. I have bought a right back called Choco from a Bulgarian side who's Brazilian but also holds Bulgarian nationality too. He's played 5 games for me already, then he was called up by Bulgaria and made his debut and when he came back to my club he has WP next to his name and i can't play him (he's been brilliant for me too) HELP!!!

thats crap because he's been awesome for me too

  8. As others have said, this a common occurrence for non-EU players yet to become internationals. Sending them to your affiliate for a couple of years can help them gain citizenship there and therefore become eligible, but if not you've potentially got a long time before you can play them, during which time their ability level can drop and never be recovered!
