    Rebuilding Liverpool

Felix Bailey arrives at Liverpool after Brendan Rodgers leaves after being given just £3,000,000 to play with. The fans are quite unhappy with the appointment due to the fact that Bailey is a relatively unknown manager. One thing that the fans have been pleased with is that he is a Liverpool fan.

Note: I have decided to skip through pre-season because I didn't manage any matches

Florent Malouda: Transfer listed and ultra-cheap, good experience
Raul Albiol: Needed third quality centre back
Adryan: Low release clause and good future
    Wilfried Zaha: Good future prospect
Nathan Redmond: Good now, only going to get better

My starting line is as follows:

Europa League play-off draw: Liverpool vs Ventspils

If you have any layout suggestions or anything gameplay-wise please tell me.

    Liverpool. YNWA.
Selling Enrique, Johnson and Kelly is very risky.. No full backs hardly now

  4. I am playing without fullbacks so I thought I'd sell them and use the money to get other players.

  5. August/September

Not a great month, two late goals for the opposition in QPR and Newcastle games, losing to QPR on the opening day of the season were a real low point. Really pleased with Borini's hatrick vs Ventspils though.

    Premier League
    QPR 3-2 Liverpool
    Borini, Ba
    Europa League Play-Off 1st Leg
    Ventspils 0-3 Liverpool
    Assaidi, Pacheco, Albiol
    Premier League
    Liverpool 1-1 Newcastle
    Europa League Play-Off 2nd Leg
    Liverpool 3-1 Ventspils
    Borini x3

Much better! Beating Tottenham while they were top was such a good feeling. Still annoyed with the Chelsea game though, Torres scored the equaliser.
In the Aston Villa game Borini got a 91st minute winner.

    Premier League

    Liverpool 3-0 Norwich
    Borini, Gerrard, Agger

    Liverpool 1-2 Chelsea
    Europa League Group Stage
    AA Gent 1-1 Liverpool
    Premier League
    Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool
    Suarez, Borini
    Capital One Cup Round 3

    Aston Villa 0-1 Liverpool

Average rating of 7.60, best in the team.

That leaves us in 7th, 3 points off second.

  6. October

Unbeaten in all competitions so can't be too disapointed. Draw vs Stoke wasn't great though and neither was conceding 2 goals in last ten minutes vs Dinamo. So happy about the win vs Man Utd.

    Europa League Group Stage
    Liverpool 5-3 GNK Dinamo
    Ba x2, Henderson, Yesil, Adryan
    Premier League
    Liverpool 1-0 Man Utd
    Stoke 1-1 Liverpool
    Europa League Group Stage
    Liverpool 4-0 Sparta Prague
    Suarez, Ba x2, Gerrard
    Capital One Cup Round 4
    Stoke 0-0 Liverpool aet

    Liverpool win 4-5 on penalties

Still in same position, 7th, a win would take me to 4th

Capital One Cup Quarter Final Draw vs Man City

  7. November

Another unbeaten month! Through to the knockout stage of the Europa League with 2 games in hand and absolutely thrilled with the last two results. The notable matches were a 1-0 win in the Merseyside derby, a 3-3 draw vs Arsenal and a 3-3 (we win on penalties) draw with Man City. In the Arsenal game, Gerrard got sent off for two bookings with the game at 1-1, Reina scores an own goal but Ba gets his second. Then they hit back in the second half but again Ba scores to complete hatrick. In the Man City game it was almost a repeat of Istanbul, three down at half time, 3-3 at full time with Borini getting the equaliser in the 89th. We win after a incredibly tense shoot-out.

    Premier League
    Liverpool 2-0 West Ham
    Shelvey, Ba
    Europa League Group Stage
    Sparta Prague 0-3 Liverpool
    Gerrard (pen), Suarez x2
    Premier League
    Liverpool 0-0 Sunderland
    Everton 0-1 Liverpool
    Europa League Group Stage
    Liverpool 2-0 AA Gent
    Assaidi, Morgan
    Premier League
    Liverpool 3-3 Arsenal
    Ba x3
    Capital One Cup Quarter Final
Man City 3-3 Liverpool (Won 4-2 in penalties)
    Borini x2, Ba

Not sure who I've got in the semis for the Capital One Cup but West Brom beat Chelsea on penalties

  8. Forgot to mention that I got the stadium expansion and youth facilities improvement. I also got £10m for transfer budget and got Everton in Capital One Cup semis

  9. December

An absolutely awful month, only 3 wins out of 8 with 4 losses and a draw. The good would be beating ten man, Man City, 2-1, the bad would be all other none winning results and the ugly would be losing 2-0 to Reading and Newcastle. Explanation for the Dinamo game is that I played the Reserve side. In the Newcastle game both Tiote and Gerrard got sent off in the first half.

    Premier League
    Liverpool 1-1 West Brom
    Europa League Group Stage
    GNK Dinamo 5-1 Liverpool
    Premier League
    Man City 1-2 Liverpool
    Borini (pen), Ba
    Wigan 1-0 Liverpool
    Liverpool 1-0 Swansea
    Reading 2-0 Liverpool
    Liverpool 1-0 Southampton
    Newcastle 2-0 Liverpool

Tempted to give to nobody but Leiva got two Man of the Matches so gave it to him.
Thank god, somehow we're still 6th but only 1 game in hand on Utd and 2 game out of hand to Chelsea.

Another upside is I got Maritimo in the 1st knockout stage of the Europa League.
I got Dynamo Kyiv or Galtasaray in the 2nd.
