Tactic Testing League (Custom Tactics)

I have created 16 equally matched teams, each of these teams have been assigned one of the most popular FM Custom Tactics which they will play against the other 15 teams.

I will be playing as all 16 clubs and my assistant manager will be in charge of team talks and team selection.

will you be doing another round of 16 tactics after this test?

i like the idea .... but the team selection is not right as it all depends on how good is the assistant manager

Have you changed player attributes in the editor at all? Just curious as there are a couple of players picked that I would never have picked myself given their regular stats.

Also, if there are any recommended shouts, strategy changes etc dependant on the opposition do you make the changes or just go with the basic setup?

No it won't. If you were playing in a online game where everyone else is using downloaded tactics then this test is useful. In single player mode, this test has no relevance what so ever.

So playing against tactics that you will pretty much never come against in FM is a good judge of how good they are? Explain.

When u play single player u play against standard tactics which is much easier than playing against custom tactics which hav certain settings that make it much more difficult to exploit against when playing against it

Another thing is that in this test every team has the same players with same stats etc..so it's basically down to being the tactic that makes the difference instead of the team selected using it

For example someone being Barcelona hav a massive advantage straight away

maybe mate depends on the success of this one, but feel free to suggest other tactics I should test

they were team selections for friendlies and the assistant managers are the best 16 on the game.

all players are aged 25 and there CA has been matched to there PA making them all playing at there peak, all the tactics will be played as plug and play with no shouts or changes etc.

Really interesting thread, much better than any of the other tactic testing threads that use holiday mode which does not play out the games in the same way as if you are watching the games. Will be interesting to see what comes out on top. Personally I don't think anything will run away with the league as I have not found anything much good up for download yet.
