The 20 year old Irish Goalkeeper is set to win his 6th international cap for the Republic of Ireland.
He is currently away on loan at Brighton who survived Relegation from the Premier League last season.Listed as a Key Player on their books, the former St. Patrick Athletic man has been impressive
lately and could potentially challenge ter Stergen as Liverpool's 1st choice Goalkeeper next season.

Aye, they're top and deserve it based on their opening 10 fixtures. Beating City is a great result.
They still have to play myself, Arsenal, United and Chelsea (all twice) so I doubt they'll stay up there.

Sorry for disappearing for the last two months.
Got sick of FM and the run in for the Premier league crown had me very distracted.

I had grown quite frustrated with this save and took a month off to play other games but I'm back playing it.
Unfortunately, I've played half the season so there will be no December, January, February or March Updates.

I'm just after finnishing April so this will be the next update but i will be posting a synopsis of the season.

Manchester United is all that stands between me and my 3rd Champions League final in as many years.
In the last 8 meets between the two sides, the head-to-head reads unkindly
    Won Lost
    Liverpool 1 7
    Manchester United 7 1

Liverpool's only win has come in the 2014-15 Champions League Final.

2-0 down with no away goals. United needed to throw the kitchen sink at us to have any chance.
And thus, one of the greatest defensive displays I've ever seen from any team in FM.

    January Transfer Update

These were the signings I made in January. It was a slow window, I don't usually like to alter my squads too much in mid-season since I do most of my planning in the off-season.

THis guy could have a future at the club. Decent stats all round and he'll sell for about 7M if he doesn't make the cut.

He may have cost me 10M but I call that a small amount for what he could be. With 20 Determination and already incredible stats for a poacher, this kid could be world class by the time he's 18.

This Sheffiled born starlet could potentially be one of the best players in the world. 20 Determination and solid physicasls leave the world at his feet. I feel his Strength, Teamwork or Work-rate are not high enough for him ot excell at being a CB at under age level so I'm retraining him to be a CM where his attributes should alloy him to shine.

1st play 4th. Liverpool all but have 4th place secured, needing only a point to guarantee Champions League football next season. an outside chance at 3rd still remains but with City at home to bottom club Watford, a home win is expected.

Cheers! Yeah, it was a tough CL route to the final. I don't really fear R.Madrid though since if you keep them out wide and play narrow with 3 @ the back (2CB + HB), they can't cross effectivly and Ronaldo & Bale run into Cul-de-sacs.

Though Barca and United can hurt your from anywhere so fortress Anfiled had to hold strong!

An opening day fixture against Arsenal will be a good indicator of how good this team really is.
November/December will be a difficult for me: Away to Spurs, Newcastle, United and Chelsea,
but if I am in the race for the title, both Chelsea and United have to come to Anfield during the run in.

  40. Been following this story from the start, only decided to post today. Best story I've seen on here, hope you continue it.

Question for you, how do you get the players to always perform? I am on a Liverpool save, just completed my ninth season. Best I have ever finished was 3rd (In 2013-14 I led for basically the whole season and lost it with 3 weeks to go, heartbreaking.) I just can't get anywhere. How do you do it?

Been following this story from the start, only decided to post today. Best story I've seen on here, hope you continue it.

Question for you, how do you get the players to always perform? I am on a Liverpool save, just completed my ninth season. Best I have ever finished was 3rd (In 2013-14 I led for basically the whole season and lost it with 3 weeks to go, heartbreaking.) I just can't get anywhere. How do you do it?
The trick is to believe . . . . . no honestly, it's to have faith in your system and trust your players. The BPL is of immense quality and there are no easy teams. Even the teams tipped for relegation can beat anyone on their day. If you loose a game or two, don't ring int he changes and upset the momentum. You have to keep moral high and get the players playing in a system they are comfortable with.

    Gutted.
Absolutly gutted by this loss as I felt we were the better team. Arsenal got lucky and hit me before the
break but I couldn't get enough shots on target. Disappointed by this loss.

QPR defended well and only for them getting the early goal, I'd have gotten my first win of the campaign.

I was disappointed that I couldn't hold out and get the three points. But what can you do, you win some,
you loose some, you draw some.

Our first competitive win of the season also sees us bring our season's first piece of silverware home.
Big win to settle the nerves and kick start our title ambitions.

Probably my favorite day in the season, to find out who Europe will throw against us this winter. When I started this save, I never could have envisioned I'd win 3-in-a-row, now I'm determined to keep this amazing form going and continue making history.

  49. It's great to see you posting again. I was following this story a few months back, just got caught up, after I'd come back on these forums. You're doing a great job and this is definitely one of the best stories on here and not just because it's a Liverpool story! I was wondering if you could give me a few pointers on my story, keep the updates coming!

There is a chance I may get sacked here. My league form is dipping and wins are rare.
Many players are getting frustrated and have voiced their discontent.
My European Form is all that's saving me I feel. This story may be over soon.
