Thanks mate. This save has been one of my most enjoyable; mainly due to the feedback and support for this story.
I'd have done this all myself anyway and loved it but being able to share it with everyone makes it that little bit more special. Kinde feels like this save is bigger than me

  5. whoa, 145K a week for Moreno? - i thought me paying Vidic 75k a week was high!

    good business though, KIU!

Brendn great job, for my opinion you didn't pay to much for him! How much budget and wages you still have on your account?
The screenshot of yaya tour? is amazing, for that price he will make you win more because of the depth of your midfield!

I don't know if sturridge is still playing in your squad? but on my safe after 4 years he became a beast!

He was looking for 50K appearance fee and I managed to get him down to 35K. Net saving of 0.5M a year considering his wages mean he cost me 7M a year.

He's a regular Mexican international, a perfect BPD with a professional attitude and at 28, he's coming into his prime so I think he's worth the cost.

I'd have liked to get him for cheaper but when you're defending Championship League holders and challenging for the Premier League, players know you've the cash to pay them

Aye, He was Transfer Listed at City and I said "I'm having that!"
He'll provide a temporary replacement for Gerrard until Rossiter is hitting his peak

I sold Strurridge to PSG for 18M last year. His form was inconsistent so I decided to ship him off. I just didn't trust him to score which is a crucial thing. I can't take risks and just go-for-it if I don't trust the players on the pitch.

  10. ha!!you showed wisdom who's boss!
great that you got 10 million as well.

  11. Boy! That is a lot for of money (wages) for Moreno! In my Liverpool save i've spent so littlw (2024) that i have 350? million pound transfer budget and 4 or so ? million wage budget! It's really comforting! Though to be fair despite being champo league winners 3 times in a row ive only got 3 players on 100k+

    Good job!!

No one demands playing time in my playground! Aye, Wigan offered 7M and I negotiated to 10M and they said yes.

Haha. While I commend your shrewd spending, what's the point in having a huge transfer kitty if you're not going to spend it? I judge my expenditure by my finances tab and make a judgment call as to how much I can afford to spend each season.

    6th Yeah: 2018/19

I'll evaluate my situation and either
    A) Continue and draw up a new 5 year plan.
    or
    B) Start a new story.

Sony's multi-million pound deal with Liverpool may only be just 12 months old but the Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation has not wasted time getting involved in the local area, investing heavily in schools football through out the city. As part of the sponsorship deal, Sony would invest between one-to-five million a year towards the development of grassroots football in the merrsyside area.

Coaches and players from Liverpool FC Foundation and Liverpool Ladies FC worked with over 8000 students throughout July; looking at skills and techniques in football as well as five-a-side games and tournaments.

Liverpool and England internationals Natasha Dowie and Gemma Bonner took part in the sessions allowing the girls to play with their sporting idols.

Liverpool FC Foundation Girls Football Leader Vicky Jepson said the sessions had given girls who wouldn't otherwise have got involved with football the chance to realize their sporting skills, as well as their academic potential.

"I said at the beginning when I came here, I'm a youth coach! That's all I've ever been.
The academe is so important to this club and to this city. We have to do our part and
help the kids make the transition from the street to the stadium"

"In recent years, we've seen Liverpool look further abroad with it's player base, neglecting the local
pool of players, resulting in Everton hauling in most of the local talent over the past 10 years.
We want to try make Liverpool a viable option for the kids here. Make them want to come here, and make them believe they can succeed here!"

"Look at young Jordan (Rossiter), he came to us 5 years ago and he's never played a minute outside of the Premier League level in England. When he was 17, we sent him on loan to Cardiff City, where he was given more playing responsibility and now, at 19 years of age, he has a Champions League winners medal and he played his part in retaining that trophy."

"Liverpool city has a history of producing player, it's up to us to find them and keep them in Liverpool."

The kit sponsorship deal with SONY is valued at 90million pounds and is in place until 2020

Thanks a million mate. It was a rough start, I remember seriously worrying abut my job until the chelsea game I recommend doing a story. They're a lot of work but well worth it as I've enjoyed this save so much more because of it.

This formation is designed for teams that play with high line and an ACM.

The Half-Back sits deep covering the runs of the ACM and and Inside-forwards looking to cut-inside. The HB also gives my WB's the freedom to aggressively push up.

A simple bank of 4 in midfield is to control possession while the F9 will drop deeper to link the central play with on-rushing WB's pushing forward.

I don't really want the CM's pushing too far forward since I'm looking for the F9 (Coutinho/Suarez) to drop deep and patiently spread the ball wide before moving into the box; but I do see the right CM(attacking duty) pushing forward to lurk outside the box.

Juve' took an early lead from a corner and then caught me twice on the break.
This was a close game, evenly matched despite the scoreline.
Juve' will feel flattered by 3-0

Solid start. Arsenal my own loss but 15 form 18 points is a great return from the opening 6 fixtures.

The boy is only 18 yet he's brought his season tally to 9 goals in 8 games.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Wigan and he's looked
a different player. He may just rival Suarez for the golden boot his season

    Two stand-out performances from youngsters

    Antonio Correia (RB)
    Age: 16

After both Flannagan and Kelly got injured, I was forced to turn to this 16 year old French RB who was in my U18's. I signed him for 1M and had high hopes but I never expected him to handle himself so well!

    Javier Molina (LW)

Stolen from Real Madrid's Academe on a free, having played 74 games for Castilla; scoring 10, assisting 17 in two seasons. Gave him a chance and he's put in a string of solid performances. We could have a very good player here!

It's not, it's my last game there as the home team. We got relocated there while Anfield was being redeveloped.
