I set up to play with high tempo, quick and fast initially until we score a goal, then sit back and hit on the counter. Sam scored in 24th minute, we hit woodwork twice. It was a rather uneventful game.

We've won the German Cup first time since 1993! I'm glad to have won a piece of silverware in my first year in-charge.

Kiessling was on fire all season, ending the season with 27 League goals, his accuracy of shooting is commendable. Bernd Leno couldn't had Golden glove but Neuer is on a whole other level, finishing with more clean sheets while playing 10 matches less than Leno, incredible. Rofles had a great season, the Captain was everywhere when we needed him, helping out in defence, creating chances for Kiessling and scoring himself.

I had conceded least goal by Winter-break, and Dortmund was way off at second but I finished the season with best goal scoring record, interesting turn of events. (Narrowly beating Dortmund on last day)
Look at Bayern's form, 7 games won in a row.

Kiessling scored 10 goals in last 5 league games, he was on fire towards the end, leading the team as Vice-Captain and not giving up our first league title. Timo Werner chipped a few goals from left wing, assisted a few too.
Sidney Sam usually scored in games where everyone was struggling, that's why 7 POMs, he's evolved into more of a team player, bagging 9 assists.
Special mention for January signing Luan.

The striker signing in the middle of year was a bit surprising as Kiessling was performing well and Ballack had good rotational option in Timo Werner and even Son Heung-Min is capable of playing uptop, but Luan proved to be an absolute bargain at 1.6M. Scoring 7 and assisting 8 in 11 appearances are great numbers, let's see how he does in next season.

  4. Stefan Kiessling (KieBling), The untraditional forward.

Stefan Kiessling, Bayer Leverkusen Vice Captain was one of the most lethal striker last season across Europe. Kiessling isn't known for his technique or skill or his ability to dribble through defences, most of what he does is pretty standard, but he makes it count in front of goal.

Stefan Kiessling was piling on ridiculous numbers last year, which begs us to as questions to the people looking for Messi's of this world. FC Bayern manager Pep Guardiola uses a False 9, a midfielder as a Striker and it seemed to pay dividends when he was at Barcelona but maybe was it because of Messi(The player who can succeed in any style)? FC Bayern had some scoring trouble this season, drawing a lot of matches 1-1 or 0-0 because they couldn't penetrate a tight defence. A normal False 9 doesn't tend to have instincts of a natural striker and drops deep, isn't usually good in air either.

Kiessling scored 36 goals in all competitions and he was not used as an aerial target by Bayern manager Leverkusen. Stefan Kiessling also dedicated his Golden Boot to Michael Ballack.

I've done my summer shopping already mate, I've spent quite a bit FWIW. Next update will be transfers. Bayern have spent almost same as me so far, and have almost sold players for same amount.

If they don't sign anyone else, I think I can play more comfortably next season. I've been grinding out results last year, even in the matches I won, opposition dominated. Counter-Attacking tactics are efficient. I had to sell Kruse btw.

Pep Guardiola has taken charge over Spain National Football team after Vicente Del Bosque resigned following Spain's 2-1 loss to England in World Cup second round. Pep Guardiola was appointed as FC Bayern manager only last year and won a treble during his time at Allianz Arena. (Bundesliga, Club World Cup, German Super Cup)

FC Bayern fans paid a tribute to their manager, although he hadn't been here long, he had already become a fan favourite and will be missed. Bayern will now be searching for a new manager. Juventus' Antonio Conte has declared his interest in managing Bayern.

  9. Awesome story man. I love Werner in this game! Looking forward to seeing how Kruse develops

  10. Well.. I actually sold Kruse... *hides behind a door*

  11. I wasn't gonna say anything but now you've scorned two of us

  12. I had a very good reason to, mate. I'll post the update soon. Just waiting till Window gets over, I'm most probably done with transfers but can never rule out surprise decisions (I won't sign, but PSG and other clubs are sniffing around my players).

Omer Toprak submitted transfer request after PSG came for him, Arsenal transfer listed Mertesacker, Welcome back to Germany, pal.

    Out

Sidney Sam: He'd been inconsistent all year, tries a lot of wayward shots. Nobody came in with a higher bid, sold.

Son Heung-Min: Liverpool and FC Porto were lurking around him, he also had an inconsistent season and I'm planning on playing Timo Werner on left wing now, sold him for good profit.

Robbie Kruse: Thought he wouldn't get minutes since my new tactic requires players with more vision for a pass, was sad see such a good squad player leave.

Junior Fernandes: Was underwhelming on loan last year at Dinamo, sold him to whoever bid highest.

Roberto Hilbert: Was signed on free last year, never played for first team.

Omer Toprek: I didn't want to sell him, but PSG bid and he started causing trouble, also put in a transfer request. He was my mos pacey defender.

  19. I was extremely delighted by last year's performance in the league, we were very much in title race until the end, progressed in Europe too. I knew I can dream big this time around, board gave me a delightful surprise with the transfer budget.

    Friendlies review

We faced European Champions, and they've strengthen a lot in summer, scoreline would've looked better if we hadn't conceded a goal just in last minute. Sidney Sam tried his best to prove I was wrong selling him playing for Dinamo, but his wayward shots proved me right instead.

Conte is no Guardiola, Bayern signed Reus (Who again signed from rivals), sold Shaqiri to City, but they were toothless going forward. Conte played narrow 4-2-3-1, I played 4-3-3 to overload the midfield and shut down their creative players, and also he used attacking Wingbacks, I had feeding frenzy down the flanks.

Woowie, this was complete madness, quite opposite to last two games. Ji Dong-Won scored a goal in 11th second of the match. We dominated match mostly, but they troubled us as well. We hit woodwork 3 times, at least 2 of them were clear cut chances, would've loved 7-3 thrashing.

Per Mertesacker was an absolute [fun]ing warrior in this game. Stafylidis got sent off and then Luan got injured in 10th minute, I had to make 2 substitutions and was already down to ten men, Werner set the platform in 20 mins for us to defend, Mertesacker just didn't let any get past him. Pathetic from SLB, they had 9 of their players in defensive half, booooooring. They scored from their only corner of the game, Cardozo's leap was amazing to score the header, no one could've stopped him. Markovic earned MOTM against his former team, he played a through ball to beat 6 players for Werner's goal.

This is playing on the counter, Benfica. I hope Jorge Jesus watched this match. Both of my defenders scoring, Maxim hit the woodwork twice. Keissling with a poacher's goal.

    End of the month thoughts

And the perfect start continues, Werner has been the breakthrough this year, already scoring a total of 10 goals which he scored last year in around 3 times appearances. He has won us some games single handedly, 100% record so far. Werner has 10 goals in 11 games, 2 assists. Wollscheid has been performing incredibly well at the other end, with the Mertesacker. That reminds me, I absolutely love Mertesacker, I can't believe Arsenal let him go, good for us.

Bayern are scoring for fun, but leaking goals too. They lose the odd game whenever they face a team which plays 4-3-3 and exploits wings, like Gladbach did recently.

  26. Advanced Forward when I expect to dominate, Target Man when playing Counter-Attacking, sometimes Trequartisa just for the fuck of it, despite his creativity and passing stats being horrible, he plays great ball for other players in the game.

Timo Werner does not like losing to his previous side. Donati send off again, fking prick. My team didn't use to foul this much even when playing on the counter. After the sending off they caused us a lot of trouble, Schar rescued a late win.

    Manager's thoughts

No fairytale can last forever, a bad month where a draw against Stuttgart was quite possible until Schar rescued 3 points for the team. Extremely disappointed with Donati's discipline, he'll be riding the bench for quite a few games now. Timo Werner has been excellent in some games, but went invisible in a couple. He's in running for Golden boot, 9 goals to Mandzukic's 12.

  28. Okay so I just punched my Laptop's screen, it was getting frustrating in a home game, couldn't get a fucking a shot, let alone on target. When a cross was going out Leno tried to catch and it hit him, got into patch of opposition striker he scored, I managed to pull 1 goal and they scored 2.

Next game, I was 2-0 up then lost 3-2, no tactic I have seems to be working anymore, and there hasn't been a patch update either.

I'm not blaming SI or anything, I just want to update I just broke my Laptop's screen and there won't be any updates for a while.

I know, everything was fine in my West Brom save, but no tactic with different styles is working ATM in this save, I dominate yet can't get a shot on target, I play on counter, still no shot. I somehow manage a lead from set pieces, and then I go on to lose. Probably just a bad run of form, happens to a lot of teams.

I'm a human, got frustrated, punched the screen and it broke from left side, it's still working though but I'll send laptop for repairing. (Physically broken, screen frame).
