  4. January 2017 - Mid Season Update

This is just a small update on any transfer news, injuries, internationals or any other interesting news.

    - Liam Turner signed for Arsenal on 10th July 2016. Sources tell us that Liam Turner has a hatred of Matthew Wade. It will be interesting to see if he can focus solely on his football in the future.

-Toomas Tomski joined Eibar on loan from Real Madrid on the 31st of August 2016.

    - Odin Wodenssen has been attracting interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd but no offer was made before the transfer deadline. He has been been ignoring the transfer news of late, and continuing to focus on Jong Ajax in the Jupiler League until a official bid is made.

    - Aaron Hendriks has attracted the interest from Tottenham of late but no bid was materialized before the window shut.

    - Med Max has been listed for loan and is welcoming the chance at First team experience.

    Internationals/Injuries
    :

    - Every player but Goal Keeper has made either a u19's or u21's appearance.

    - No major injuries.

Full update coming soon with End Of Season screenshots

    Telstar and LiamTurnerrr like this.

    Name: Toomas Tomski
    Nationality: Russian (Estonia, Spain)
    Position: ST / AMC
    Club: Real Madrid (Eibar Loan)
Bio: Tomski was sent on loan to Eibar in the Spanish first divison for the season and had a good year. He helped Eibar to a 11th place finish in the league, 3 above their predicted position. Eibar fans took notice of Tomski hard work and has become a favored figure at the club, winning the supporters player of the year and being named in the team's seasonal best 11. A move to Eibar could be back on the cards, with a number of Spanish clubs interested in another loan deal from the Real Madrid prospect.

Bio: Goal Keeper had a quiet season at Aston Villa and it was noted by the England youth teams as he was still unable to break into the setup. He was 2nd string to Pierluigi Gollini all season and only made a handful of appearances. Though he did start in the first leg of the Play-Off Semi Finals but was given a rating of 5.5 in a 3-1 defeat. Villa went on to lose the tie 6-2, losing 3-1 again in the 2nd leg.

Bio: Oisín Tiernan was a key-player for Westerlo as they survived relegation easily, finishing 20 points above the relegation zone. Tiernan also earned his first Ireland call up in a World Cup Qualifying match against Wales, which finished 2-2. Tiernan was subbed in the 66th minute though, failing to make any impact with a 6.5 rating. Tiernan was selected for the best 11 of the season which helped him become the clubs record sale for a total of 1.6m to Manchester City. Though Tiernan should not be expecting many first team starts with City's stacked roster.

Though from the 10 appearances he did make for the first team, 7 of them came in the Coupe de la Ligue, which PSG won and Med Max collected a medal - though he did not appear from the bench. No loan offers came in for Med Max and he has since been made unavailable for loan. He also managed to grab a few goals in the French Youth Invitational, which he also won - scoring in the final of a 3-0 win against Greece u20's.

  7. Now the question is, how long until my breakout season

  8. Great:-)
Odd-Willy Notthatbright has also mad it into the U21 squad for Spain :-)

  9. International recognition and first team appearances is good for young Wodensson. Hopefully he will stay at Ajax for at least one more season to develop further and consolidate his position in the Iceland team. We don't want his head turned by too much too soon. If a transfer is in the offing hopefully it will be to Juventus rather than Man Utd I don't fancy his chances as an attacking LB/LWB against Shaw at this point in time. Good thing with being at Ajax is even with the reserves Wodensson is getting league competition football which can only help.

  10. Absolutely gutted.. Come on Andy get the finger out!!

  11. It's stupid how much I keep checking back hoping for an update haha. Enjoying it very much so far.

  15. Don't know whats going on with the format, it keeps spacing everything out even after I fix it. Will adjust the next update to a cleaner format.

  16. Odin looks to be taking the Dutch league by the scruff of the neck can't complain at a league winner medal at a young age and two best player awards (was a little confused by the golden boot as I thought it was for the top goal scorer (Wodenssen does not score)until I looked up the Dutch award). Hopefully one more season in the Netherlands then time to move to one of the big boys (not that AJax aren't a big team of course they just aren't in a big league).

  17. OWN looking good :-)

    Position: ST / AMC
    Club: Real Madrid > Liverpool
Bio: Tomski started his 3rd season with Real Madrid in the B team and would never of expected a 23.5m bid from Liverpool to materialize. He went on to have a good season for Liverpool, picking up 6 Goals in 15 Premier League appearances. He also chose to represent Spain over Estonia and Russia, making his first appearance in a 3rd Place play-off in the World Cup.

Though them 2 clean sheets seemed vital, as Villa finished 5 points above the relegation zone in 17th place. Keeper could become first choice with Gollini being linked with a move to Udinese.

Tiernan doesn't seem to be close to earning a regular spot for Man City and may seek another loan away from the club.

He was named Foreign Player of the Year for the 2nd year running and seems to think he has outgrown his boots at Roma, as he looks to force a move away to a bigger club. The youngster can't be blamed though as Roma finished 6th missing out on any European places. News is spreading like wild-fire surrounding Hendriks, as it is rumored A.C Milan and Leverkusen have bid £52m - Matching his minimum release clause. Though he made the right wing-back position his own in a Serie A Title winning season making 31 appearances. He was also close to another trophy win in the Europa League but was knocked out in the Semi-Finals by Dortmund. His contract is up at the end of the year which may see the youngster move on if he is wanting some more opportunities - I'm sure his spell with Juventus opened many doors for him.

  22. Lol Odin is an Icon already after 3 seasons. Obviously now he's gone to an English club he will have a massive injury and spend the next 6 months out. Can't knock 2 championship medals before aged 20 however. Ooooh and a goal to boot lol

  23. Finally starting to make headway at Villa! As a GK I guess its not as important how early you break in because of how long your career lasts, but he's still got plenty of time to make a name for himself.

  31. If Wodensson can keep fit then I can't see Man Utd needing a new LB for at least another 12-15 years. 19 years old and already league and cup double winner in two countries, it will be interesting how far this young star can go or will it be a case of too much too soon I hope not. His stats have improved with his move as well, I wonder what happened to Luke Shaw lol.

  32. Playing up front for Bayern - not bad, not bad at all!
