  1. Silverware brought to Elland Road

I don't know if I 'm going to create a new story (feeling a bit rusty ha ha ), but I am so excited for this huge achievement I have just pulled that I wanted to share with all of you !

Allan Smith, (our hero) former Leeds star player , started his coaching career in his beloved club in 2016. Managed to win promotion in his second year at the club and after nine years as a manager won two Europa Leagues back to back and also the EFL Cup. But his latest performance outruns all the above !!

Let 's hope that he will manege to add a Premier League tittle as well in one of the upcoming seasons. Mission impossible ? Time will show...

  4. So after the success in the Euro Cup Final it was time for the new season in the Premier League to start. Last year despite the fact that Leeds where very close to cause an upset and steal the championship from Manchester United they end up in third position. What will happen this season ?

The team closed the first month of the new season undefeated and if we had managed to hold on to our lead against the Spurs we would be in first place. No complaints what 's so ever. We 've made a good start. Hope to continue like this.

They took full advantage of it and managed to tie the game in the last minutes. We had an amazing chance in stoppage time but we kicked it away. So disappointed since when the game ended we felt that we have lost it despite we got one point.

  11. The stadium

  12. Training facilities

Both the board and Leeds' coach believe that is better to create a team than buying one. Two basic things for such a task though are good training facilities as a well a good academy. Let's have a more detailed description of our training ground (another thank you to wikipedia ha ha)

Thorp Arch is the training ground and Academy base of English football l club Leeds United. Located in the village of Thorp Arch, near the town of Wetherby, the site covers 12.1 hectares. The facility consists of three sections: The Barn, The Grange and the training pitches. Presently, none of the sections are owned by Leeds United, but the Barn and the training pitches are leased to the club. Leeds' under 18s and under 16s sides currently play their home games on the pitches at Thorp Arch.
The Grange, which was only operational by the club from its opening in the early nineties until the turn of the Millennium, accommodated the academy players, offices and changing rooms.
The site has eight full-size grass pitches and two all-weather pitches. Several of the pitches are floodlit.
The Barn, which replaced The Grange in 2002, contains a reception, a café, offices and changing rooms. It also houses the following top-class facilities:
    · Indoor pitch: this is primarily used by the academy players. The pitch features artificial turf
    and is heated.
    · Physiotherapy rooms: there are two physio rooms, one for the first team and one for the academy.
    · Bio science room: this room is used for player medicals, science testing, preventative screens and academy muscular evaluations.
    · Rehabilitation room: in this room, assessment work and activities such as basketball take place to help players who are recovering from an injury. The room features a sprung floor for jumping work.
    · Gym: the gym
is used for general player fitness as well as rehabilitation.
    · Wet area: the wet area features a massage jacuzzi
, a hydrotherapy pool and swimming pool which is used for rehabilitation and recuperation.

  14. Team Tactics

Allan Smith is a bid admirer of the 4-4-2 tactic. This formation has managed to bring to this team last year huge achievement , the Champions League trophy. However this year has decided to add on more tactic in order to become more competitive against the big teams of the Premier League.

To cut a long story short these are our two tactics

  15. November Overview

November has left us and we are preparing for Winter. It was a good month for Leeds United. The team managed to close the last month of Autumn unbeaten. Allan Smith managed to combine wins with good football as well. Let's have a look.

  16. A pleasant surprise

During the Summer , Leeds had a new chairman Mr. Dimitrios Ordoulidis from Greece. In his first meeting with the team 's manager, he told him that he is very fond of his work so far and that he hoped for a successful partnership. During the last days of November he proved that he was a man of his words.

Thanks a lot Patrick ! It 's going to be very hard since they hardly lose a game every season (for example up till now in the season they have only one loss and a draw). I have to be on my best to overcome them. The problem is that although I end up with almost the same number of wins, I have a lot of draws every season (especially with smaller teams) and that is not helpful at all.

Woodburn was truly unstoppable and managed to keep escaping Leeds' defenders attention. At least we got away with the draw from a very tough game.

The first month of the new year has passed and Allan Smith is starting to realize that Leeds chances for winning the league are very small. The team's main target right now is finishing second and strengthen its finances with the bonus that will receive for this position.

Despite the fact that Leeds posses one of the strongest offenses of the league , the team looks a bit careless in defense. Although Smith changed his beloved 4-4-2 into a 4-1-2-3DM in order to look more solid in the back, Leeds defensive problems remain especially against weaker teams. The basic issue is the lack of consistency. You cannot beat Arsenal with 5-1 and not being able to win easily the teams that are in the bottom of the table. If you cannot achieve consistency you cannot fight for the tittle. Is just that simple.

Also, what skin are you using, I didn't see it mentioned and I really like how it works into your presentation.

Smith feared the match against Norwich a lot but with Onomah in great form for second game in a row, Leeds looked unstoppable. It was about time for the ex Tottenham player to step up and justify the huge amount that was given for him in the summer transfer window of 2026.

Unfortunately, Perdo Martin was going to stay away from Leeds' big fight due a small injury. The truth is that he has become a little bit injury prone after the serious injury he had last year (season 2025-2026). When he is healthy our Smith's 4-4-2 tactic looks unbeatable. At least they did not manage to score an away goal which could been a disaster. Leeds' manager was not fond of the fact the first game against Juventus was going to be in Elland Road since he always preferred to play the second game home. He was right that time since the rematch was going to be a tricky one. It is never easy to win an Italian team away especially when there are so much at stake.

The team gave their best but the Italian defense was simply unbreakable. They managed to win due to a mistake from our flawless (up till them defense) and after that it was an uphill. It could have been wonderful to reach the final second year in a row but in any case it has been a great effort from Smith 's boys.

  35. Building the team for the new season

Since Mr. Smith took over Leeds the club is constantly growing season by season and now is considered to be among the strongest teams of the Premier. However there was still some distance to be covered until this team could be considered as tittle contender. It consists of quality players no doubt about that but what this team wants in order to be great is more leaders. Players with strong personality and experience in order to step up and make the difference. Having this in the back of his mind, Smith decided to bring some star players in Elland road. These players are ...

Montes has been complaining all season that the team lacked in defense. With Stones as his wing man he now feels more confident.

Leeds offensive line has been one of the strongest in the league but since Smith decided that it would be best to play with one striker upfront he needed a guy with strong physical attributes and quite tall as well in order to be able to fight with the opposite center backs. Rashford (who was transferred listed by United) was the chosen one.

What the team also needed was to strengthen its midfield with players with good defensive abilities but also with technical skills in order to provide cover in the back and good transition. These players were...

Last but not least, Leeds needed a right back who could combine Pablo Maffeo 's skills but with better physical attributes. So Smith went and bought...

In addition to the players that came into the team some other had to leave Elland Road. Maffeo, Pedro Martin and Lewis Martin was the big names that left Leeds and went to continued their careers elsewhere. Maffeo had the quality but not the consistency while the other two even though they are quality players they suffered serious injuries during the last two seasons and never recovered in their best shape. To cut a long story short, Leeds transfers were the following.

  37. The opening match of the new season was not going to be an easy even though it was a home game. Leeds had to face Arsenal. The Gunners had bought Perdo Martin from Smith 's team and the welcome that he was going to receive has been the talk of the day the previous days.

He is trully unstoppable and to be honest I did not expected him to be THAT good! For some strange reason he was put in United's transfer list with a 45 million price tag. I offered the money and they wanted 86 million !! I steped back and made the same offer after a week and they asked 56 million and the deal closed. I looked for a striker who could combine strength, technique and speed and he is got everything ! Another bonus is that he has very good free kicks as well. Let's hope that he will remain healthy and hungry for even more !

Two Leeds players in the top three for this month. No hard guesses about number one, lethal Marcus Rashford! Pedro Martin a former Leeds player completed the top three players. Pedro has been one of Arsenal 's top players so far. If it had not been for his two serious injuries in the past two years he might still being in Elland road. On the other hand that could mean that Smith would not have brought Rashford. So far the results so that Smith made the right choice. He could not buy Rashford and keep Martin on the bench with a 13 million contract per year.

Smith decided to rest Rashford for the game against Real and gave one more chance for Capobianco to score his first goal for this season. The Argentinian had not started well and Leeds' manager feared that his lack of goals could affect him. Also there were rumors that the fans did not approved the sell of Martin. Most of them were saying that it could have been best if Smith had sold Capobianco instead. Jonathan however proved with that appearance that he remains a quality attacker.

After the brake due to the international games the team gathered up for a tricky away game against West Ham. Smith had decided to play with his best squad even though he was going to have an away champions league against RBL in just two days time.
