Striker refuses to take credit

How do you deal with these guys? He just bagged four goals at pompey, the arch rival, and he still won't take credit?

Well his morale is still superb, I would really only use that if he had maybe not scored for a few matches, after bagging 4 telling him it was a good display might keep up his form.

I had this with Rooney a lot early on. Once my manager reputation went up and I was one of Rooney's 'favoured personnel' he eventually listened to team talks

Yeah, you're probably right, pujka. But I like talking with my players often, kind of makes it feel more realistic, wish there were more options to choose from though... I find that with a top team it works particularlily well, just massaging their egos after every good performance, it seems to make them happy and play better as a result.

W4NKER: I've experienced the same, you get more respect when your rep is high and I believe it has an effect on almost everything you do as a manager in the game.
