Arsene Wenger:
Wenger is known for managing Arsenal and encouraging them to play attractive possession-based football. Although, the team hasn’t managed to win any competitions in recent years he still manages to guide his team to a high league finish. Wenger is well known for signing youngsters and unearthing players with potential. His top signing was Arshavin for around £16 million.
Firstly, you must pick a suitable team – I suggest picking a team not expected to finish in the top 8 of the league and then try and break into this section of the table. You should aim for Champions League or at the very least Europa Cup qualification every year. You should try and achieve at least 60% possession at home and 55% possession away. Considering the highest Arsenal have spent is £16 million, I suggest aiming to not spend more than £12 million on a player with the teams suggested. You should aim to sign youngsters or unknown gems with potential e.g. Song, Nasri. The final part of the challenge is to make a profit on transfers, however I understand it may be difficult to do in the first season so aim for second season onwards!
Suggested teams: Newcastle, Montpellier, Hoffenheim.

Mourinho challenge:
Mourinho became successful through managing Porto by winning the treble with them. He started off at Benfica, before moving through Porto, Chelsea, Inter and finally Real Madrid. He is well known for his strict discipline tactical approach. Firstly, you must pick a team similar to Porto, in terms of rating, I suggest picking a team who are capable of winning the Europa Cup and/ or quarter finalists of the Champions League. You must aim to win the treble win that team, consisting of: the league, a national cup and a continental cup. Once you have completed this you can move to club in a different nation and replicate this. As it is a Mourinho challenge you must choose one of these tactics: 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, 4-3-1-2.
Suggested teams: CSKA Moscow, Athletic Madrid, Everton, Udinese

Alex Ferguson challenge:
Although he started his managerial career at St Mirren, he only became a great manager at Aberdeen. He won 3 league titles, 4 Scottish cups, 1 Scottish League Cup, 1 Cup winners cup (Equal to Champions League) and 1 Super Cup in 8 years. The aim of this challenge is to win the Champions League with a low rated team before being able to move to an established club. At the time Aberdeen were fairly similar to Rangers and Celtic, so I suggest being a mid-table team in the top leagues. You have 8 years to try and replicate or achieve better than Ferguson (when at Aberdeen). You must also win the Champions League in that time. If you manage to complete this first part of the challenge, you can move to a more established club. The second part of this challenge is to match or beat Fergusons current record at Man Utd, good luck with that he’s been there for 25 years! I suggest you go to the Wholesalers and buy yourself a lot of chewing gum! For you less ‘die hard’ football managers I suggest you try and complete the first part of the challenge!
Suggested teams: Fulham, Toulouse, Lazio

Which challenge will you try???

sounds good but i'm sure that the Cup winners cup was the old version of the europa league and not the Champions league as this says? Will be trying the Alex Ferguson challenge with Lazio

I am going to try the Mourinho challenge wit athletico madrid to start
