Hello guys. As some as you may know I do have an boardroom story going, but this is to be my own story as the boardroom story won't be that time consuming, as months can be passed in about 30 minutes. This won't be a one club story, as I have noticed that when people start to get bored of being with a certain team they have to end the story, whereas I can just move on to another team. It's the same thing if you get sacked. So vote for the team that you want me to start with (it will be a Premier League team) and the voting will close at the end of the day as I want to get started quickly. THANKS GUYS! :)

Can we get some comments please? I'm extending the voting until tommorow night

Swansea! See can ya be th 1st welsh team to win th premier league!

Everton for me mate :) big jelavic fan would like to see if you could also take them the next step and challenge for the top 4

LIVERPOOL see if you can get the club were i was born to get back to there old ways or be west brom that would be class either one of those

I'll be closing the voting at 6.30 so the story can start ASAP, if the teams are still tied at 3 all I'll pull a name out of a hat because I really have no preference as I'm used to doing everton save (Evertonian here) if that makes sense?

EVERTON IT IS *******! Bring on Moyes' Barmy Army cos we're going to Wembalay!

Part I Chapter I

I took a deep breath. I took in my surroundings. It was still all sinking in. After all the scandal, the controversy, I had come back. I was the manager of Everton FC. I still wasn't sure why. Why would they give me another chance after what I did at West Brom? At this point I was past caring. I had a job, and I was back in football, the game I loved.

My phone went off.
"Chris, it's Steve. Are you here yet?" It was Steve Round, my new assistant.
"Yeah, I'm on my way up." I replied.
"See you in a minute then."
I made my way through the staff entrance. I noticed a pretty blonde sitting behind the desk of the reception. I gave her my best smile, but she didn't crack. She was one to watch.

I entered my new office, with the gleaming sign on the door reading my name, Chris Creighton. Steve was sitting at the chair opposite mine.
"Nice. Very cosy." I commented on the room
"Chris, let me cut to the chase. I won't judge you for what you did, but the fans and other managers, and possibly even the backroom staff WILL. So, I advise you to develop a thick skin, because you're in for a bumpy ride. I know why the board appointed you. You have a fantastic football mind. You could become one of the greats, bigger than Mourinho, Daglish, Guardiola. Maybe even better than Sir Alex Ferguson himself. But you must stay on the right track. Understood?" I felt like a child being told off.
"Yes, Steve, Of course. You are totally right about everything. I promise, this club will become great again, we'll win trophies, we'll be better than Liverpool. I am going to make this club proud!" I passionately declared.
"I believe you." said Steve. Then he left.

*Any thoughts on my start? The controversy surrounding Chris will be revealed later in the story. Is everyone enjoying it? Constructive criticism is welcomed and appreciated :)

"Brace yourself." said Steve. Then we walked in.
The press conference was packed. Reporters from every newspaper, website and mucky tabloid were there, with the vulture-like papparazzi snapping away at me. Me and Steve sat down. I took the first question.
"Martin Lawler here, from BBC Sport. How do you feel as manager of this historic club?"
"It's an absolute dream come true, I was a boyhood fan and still a die hard supporter of Everton and to be managing them now is just surreal!"
"Barry Digson from SunSport" Oh here we go. "This is your first job since the scandal at West Brom. Do you think you'll be able to cope with the pressure of the football world after being away for so long?"
"Yes, I'm fully capable of handling the pressures" I replied quickly.
"Chris Taylor here, I write for Hawthorns, the West Bromwich Albion fan magazine. How do you f*cking sleep at night, you *******? You ripped away success from this club for yourself, you dirty greedy - " Security grabbed him and pulled him out. I was really shaken. Steve stepped in.
"I think that's enough for today." he spoke through the mic. A groan echoed through the room.
"What did I tell you?" said Steve. He left, and I stalked off to my office to open a bottle of whiskey, and try to put what I did out of my mind.

Part I Chapter III

"Yes!" I shouted. Our new signing, veteran striker Alessandro del Piero had rounded off a good 3-0 victory in a Europa League qualifier with a poachers goal. Everything was going to plan, and I felt I'd strengthened the team in every area with the small budget I had to work with. I got Carlos Diogo on a free transfer as Phil Neville and Tony Hibbert were past their prime. I bolstered our small attacking force with the legendary Alessandro del Piero and the man with settling issues, Turkey hero Tuncay Sanli, again on a free. My only purchases were transfer listed Tom Huddlestone from Tottenham and Carlos Fierro on a free transfer from Chivas. I was really pleased with my start. As the final whistle blew, I ushered the team into the dressing room.
"Fantastic performance lads, you controlled the game, dictated the tempo and ran everything our way. Great goal, Alessandro, and Carlos, their left winger didn't get an inch of space, you stuck to him like glue. Do you think you're ready to shake it up this season?" I asked.
"Yeah!" cried the boys.
"What?" I said, stirring them up.
"YESSS!!!" they cried. And they were. I could feel it.
