Strikers not scoring

Hey... just need a lil' bit of help

I'm winning matches but 1-0 most of the time but im not scoring loads. I've read forums where ppl have scored over 100 goals, i'll manage to get about 60 if im lucky... i've never destroyed a team like 3 or 4 nil! Im playing with Arsenal BTW. I get about 15-16 chances per games but only like 5 are on target. Also when I do have a game where get I loads on target I get put against super goalie he saves everything under the sun. What am I doing wrong? Is there any specifics for strikers?

o you wont believe it. I've given max attacking mentality and max creative freedom. Havent tried the fr yet, will give it go. Knowing my luck they'll prob just run around like headless chickens <)

Depends a lot on how you've set up the **** mate. Arsenal have a quality team and if you're winning, then why change it?

But if you're really struggling for goals, try giving your attacking players (those with runs set to forward) free roles, and increasing their creative freedom up to halfway between 'much' and the maximum. If you give them maximum creative freedom, then the chances are that they will run round like headless chickens or be trying 60 yard lobs of the opposition's goalkeeper and losing possession too easily etc

This might not help you though, because if you're a George Graham type of manager, you'll just start leaking goals and end up with Kevin Keegan type results.

Goalkeepers will have good matches if they get a lot of shots which they can deal with - most keepers at premiership level are good shotstoppers if they're being hit from 12 yards+ out. That you're seeing it is a sign that you're dominating play but not getting down the flanks enough to provide 2 yard tap-ins. How many clear-cut chances a game are you creating? Those are the ones which matter - too many of them not being converted and you may need to look at your strikers and figure out how better to motivate them, train them, get them in form or even how best to replace them for ones who can play to the strengths of your team

Sell your strikers if they are not performing over time. Get a profound goalscorer who you know nets every game. Somebody like torres
