90 million pounds for Huntelaar, Vela, De Jong, Miguel veloso and moutinho, asenjo, G. rodriguez, Naldo, sylvian armand, L.Diarra and some decent staffs, I am now in 2nd position and keep on going ...

Is anyone here also a big spender? I might learn one or two lessons how I should spend my blings to ...

(H)

every1 who is man city is a big spender.

i tend to use the arsene wenger approach, i will spend big on a couple of areas in my team but then invest in the future and coaching to ensure that my team has a legacy for years to come.
Had a file with blackburn once, won the premiership twice, the uefa cup, the champions league, FA Cup twice, Carling Cup twice, left after 2 seasons to manage england and roberto mancini took over, Blackburn won the premiership every season after that and always atleast made the last 4 of the champions league. All down to the legacy i had put in place during my 2 years of strucuring and rebuilding

tottally agree,

ONLY spend if you really need to!!

when man city what else is there to do
so keep spending
(TIP) only buy players that say better than what uv got

i do agree with that but,

You dont buy players because they look good, you got to look at everything else aswell eg - does he suit your team, what positions you are weak in, what position will he play in and etc.

You dont buy players that you havent got a clue what to do with them before you make any signings you should have a formation tactics in your head already then you just buy the players you need in the positions you are weak in

thats the first thing you should learn.

I did have a man city game, 4-3-3

Asenjo
Srna Dunne Richards Mathieu

Moutinho Diarra Veloso

Cardozo Jo Robinho

Quit as it was **** and my strikers were terrible. Robinho always seems to be bad. any tactics or help please. :D

well.... I have 4-3-3 tooo

Check this out...

Asenjo
Richard, Naldo, G.Rodriguez/Dunne, Garrido

Moutinho, Diarra, Veloso

Robinho, Huntelaar and Ched Evans

Ched Evans really kicks *** ....

and now Im in the 1st position...

As i said, i spent 90 millions pounds and i make my board happy...

Started season in december with city (16th at time) , spent 123Million in January on Given, De Jong Arshavin Crouch Srna Barry and others, 50Million worth of youngsters coming in summer, and finished 17th !!:(

Try the 4231 tactic from Gooner, tweak a bit here and there.
Then get some replacement dependable with season you are now like me in the first 2 seasons aguero didnt want to come at the 3rd season he was willing to come.

Some good replacements I got

Angel Di maria
Ashley Young
Riquelme
Aguero
Van der vaart
polombo
molinaro
zapata
L de Silvestri

Reserve/extra
Dede
Felipe
Vukcevic (very good atk mid talent)
Jonathan Cristaldo

This is what I got in 4 seasons,so check your team and decide which areas you want to strenghten first.

Beware tho,if you sign too many players at once it takes ages before they get used to each other so it will most likely result in lots of draw games.

Need a lot of patient for some players before they actually do their thing, for example Aguero takes like 3/4 of a season before he get used to the team and starts scoring.

My results with this tactic
first season 4th
2nd season 3th(euro cup)
3rd season 2th (fa cup)(champions cup)(european cup) also 38 games undefeated
currently first in 4th season

I also was manchester city and i signed

Shay Given £16mil
Joleon Lescott £12 mil
Fernando Gago £5 mil
Andrey Arshavin £11 mil
Stewart Downing £10 mil
Sergio Aquero £37 mil
Pavel Pogrebnyak Loan
Mikel Arteta £15 mil

I also sold Elano, Petrov, Fernandes, Ireland, Benjani and Vassell and I am 4th in January, out of the FA Cup in the 3rd round, out of the league cup in the quarters and still in the UEFA Cup having won all my group games

When I was Man City I found that I signed far too many players and they never gelled. Always had the assistant feedback telling me that the team were having trouble.

I find that if you win the league with a strengthened team and make it into Europe then you just splash the cash on one person, the best person for your position. As previously said - it's important to have a future, so I would tend to buy someone who is immense then buy several young talents like Fausto Rossi and Luca Tremolada.

Hope this helps :D

i think you should buy 5 quality players, and a few future stars
GK (Vilar)
LB (Srna)
DM (Veloso/Diarra)
RM (Arteta)
ST (Cardozo)

I think Cardozo is a bad choice.
I just started one with a friend.
Bought: G.Barry, P.Jagielka, C.Kameni, R.Santa Cruz.
I mainly bought these players as they have already played in the Premier League and half are english. Didn't want to fall into the trap that my mate did previously and buy a 11 players to completely give a new starting line up. I think i've got 16 mil left. Debating whether to spend it on another player OR Invest it on coaches and staff etc.
Advice would be goood. Cheers! :D

My mate is Chelsea on it and he spent 40mil on Aguero. And is basically relying on all his goals to come through him. Not so sure about that but hey, its not me!

Thankies big times mateee...

You guys are right... the moreale is on and off, I praised them, I offered them contracts I also promised them future staff role, still... they are likely havin difficulty mingling with the rest of the team, well I bought 11 new players and I nearly fired my *** manager too ... LOL ...

Please notice this, Ched Evans.. man city reserves, get him up or offer him a new contract and put him at important first team player, he is the best young player in England i have known since The Walcott and Jack Wilshire (arsenal).

this is my team, i went for youth

Jo Bojan

Fernandez

Babel Veloso Diarra

Clitchy Zapata Vidic Richards

Akinfeev

its probably because those players have proven they can perform to a good standard in the premier league, their probably thinking of trying to stabalise the club first(and plus no fu**er will go to them). think of the amount of money that could be wasted(or has been wasted in robinhos case) if they just splashed like crazy.
