im in my second season managing liverpool and for some reason my tax bill is about £30,000,000 a month the previous season it was £25,000,000 for the whole season but this season im upto the start of april and i have paid £263,000,000 which is crippling me as i cant make any money.

was wondering if anybody had any idea why this might be happening or what i can do about it?

cheers

What the ****? It must be a bug.. There is so way you would pay £30m a month in tax.

i play as arsenal and my bill is just over £2m and i just checked liverpool and they pay £1.3m. Report it too si sounds like a bug

At Newcastle I was paying around £75-£85m a season in tax, but I sold a lot of players. I assumed that by selling players, I'd be in a strong position, but I kept going into the red.

I'm having a similar issue, although not to that extreme. I'm playing as Blackburn and i'm in my third season (2nd in the Prem), last year my tax bill for the whole year was 9m, this year i'm already at £35m and i'm only in Feb. AS you say it's crippling and not sure what to do.

Let me know id SI come back to you or you find a fix!

im at the begining of october with man utd and ive already payed £9mill in tax. bought nobody, sold nobody

Just been told on the SI website by a tester that tax is based on previous years earnings which is why my tax increased so much after getting Blackburn promoted.

Still seems almost imposible to balance the books based on the figures above!

What was your turn over for the previous year? to be paying that amount of tax it must have been about £600mil.

me2, this is mental

The same thing has happened to me. I'm a few seasons in with Bradford and just finished my first season from the prem (gettig relegated, boo).Last season i paid 4m tax all season. this season in the championship I have paid 17m so far and its only january!!! I'm having to sell player to keep afloat this is mental. must be a bug. SI Patch it soon plz

This is absolute horse S**T.

Such a double edged sword.

Sell your players to keep from going under financially.

Pay tax on the sold players next year (basically everything that you earned from selling the player you have to pay in tax).

So you can sell them, and pay ridiculous taxes which will put you under.
Or you can keep them, and pay ridiculous wages which will put you under.
Or you can not renew their contracts, and they will walk away without any compensation.

Everything about this game SCREAMS get a sugar daddy chairman. It is almost literally impossible to make money without one.

Tax is a percentage of your profits, so you are never going to lose money by selling players and getting charged tax (Unless it is bugged)

Actually tax is a percentage of your income so you will get taxed for the sale of players
