After the turmoil of the 2012 close season. I set out to get Rangers back to where they belong, being the top team in Scotland and competing with the best in Europe.

The first season has went well. Won the league only losing 2 games, finishing with 86 points and a record 89 goals. In the cup competitions, after an inspiring 4-0 win over Aberdeen in the 2nd round of the Scottish Communities League Cup we crashed out to St Johnstone 2-1 in the quarter finals at McDiarmid Park. In the William Hill Scottish Cup it was Dundee who ended the run in the 4th round winning 1-0 at Dens. Although cup glory came when we beat Falkirk 1-0 to win the Ramsdens Challenge Cup.

Now in the 2013 close season there is no Transfer market to look to strengthen the side as we are under a transfer embargo until the 3rd of September. Although Lee Wallace left the club for Watford for £2m. Carlos Bocanegra and Dorin Goian have returned from their loan spells at Racing and Spezia respectively.

Now for the task of looking for big Freindlies and holding on to the better players in my squad.

who you bought mate? I sold Wallace at the start of season 1 for 3m and bought,
Stevie Thompson from St Mirren 250k
Darren McGreggor from Aberdeen i think for 300k
16 year old left back from Hamilton for 100k
barry douglas from Dundee United for 200k
and a 17 year old right winger from kilmarnock for 700k.

Im looking to get sibbald in january, remember you can sign anyone under 18.

I never bought anyone. The way I'm thinking is that my squad is good enough for the next two seasons. So I'm looking to keep the same team for as long as possible also bringing in the youth players that are up to it. Also tring to get some other youngster from other teams in on the action aswell. My financies dont look to promising. Keep losing quite a bit through "Other"(Any ideas?). Sorry for the **** updates I've been busy at work all last week but this week and into my Christmas leave I should be back on track.

no idea mate, money is ok in my game. i spent a bit in the first season but still less than the 3m i recieved for wallace, remember if you are needing a few quid you can also sell the danny wilson transfer clauses.
what i will say is i have given new contracts to alexander and mcculloch, aswell as selling goian and bocanegra. the last two were costing 14 grand each a week, 30k = 1.5m a year. alexander and mccoloch are now on about 5 or 6k each. im going to sell the brazilian cb in janruary because his wage has went up to 9.5k.
as for purchases, i got sibbald for 600k and a young scottish rb with 4.5 star potential for 100k. i also got a cracking 4.5 star potential striker form our youth intake.
cant recomend barry douglas enough, he has been frightening as has steven hendry the young LB from hamilton.
