Im in desperate need of a solid right back and left back iv had a look round the market and carnt realy find im at the start of my 2nd season in the prem and have about 9million to spend. iv already signed mattock but he aint playing well at all getting ratings!! Pompey got relegated so glen johnsons availible but is he prem standard?

has anybody got any recomendations???
 
Best thing to do is use the search function the forum has and search for defenders, wing backs etc and you'll find loads of threads asking the same thing, I actually done it before myself to get a few names to look at.

Although I will give you a few recommendations; Baines, Torres, Schwaab, Riise, Drenthe :)
 
Nicky Shorey From Villa Solid performer gets a few goals also if you give him a run up the wings from Defence!
Also Craig Gardener From Villa can play in the centre of Midfield and right back!
 
mazzarani (udinese) or rafinha (schalke) for right back and kolarov (lazio) or bale (tottenham - he's always looking to move to a bigger club on my games) for left back

Another one to think about, Mikey, is Phil Jagielka, he was fantastic for me until my board decided to accept an offer from Villa, and he's English which is a huge bonus!:p
 
have anybody sign onyekachi apam from OGC nice cote d'azur??? his right back...so far he play well for me, my board also delighted with him, i sign him for 10mil. mike, if u only have 9mil maybe u can try this guy. offer 9mil with clause.
 
Try Guilherme left back brazil u21, though if its for English Prem he might struggle to get a work permit. Plays club football in Spain, I think for Almeria, cost me Euro 6mil

He performs better than Rafinha in my team under the same instructions, Raf cost me Euro 8mil.
 
vargas a left back from fiorientina and darijo srna from shaktar also davide santon from inter milan is a very good youngster
 
I recommend as right back Mickael Chretien from Nancy. I bought him for about 9M Euros in the 2nd season then sold him to A.S Rome a season later for 35M euros.

He's very good o,o
 
glen johnson is good, if your struggling get him, and mattock will be pretty good by the end of the season if your lucky 8-|
 
try opare from r. madrid, he isn't world class but wont really let u down either
 
Right Backs : Nigel Reo,Rafinha,Santon,Opare,Zabaleta,Rafeal,Gosling,Sagna,Lassana Diara
Left Backs : Mattock,Guardado,Guilherme,Bale,Clitchy,Fabio,Marcelo,Christian Pander, Jaun manuel Vargas
 
marcell jansen is a quality left back (Hamburg) should get for roughly 6-7 mill,
maggio from napoli,for roughly same price he's **** hot, both class FB'S/WB'S
