Why haven't they fixed this? Drawing a team in a cup that...

you have a fixture against immediately after? It has been in at least the past 3 FMs. It gets frustrating and annoying at times.

Are you saying that its a bug, that it happends every time in your saves (when its actually possible, the team you are facing still being in the cup)? I have not seen this on any occasion in my saves in neither Fm11, 12 and 13.

I see this every year, on almost every save.. It happens at least once. It has to be a bug.
 
Also get this.

Thought it may have only been me.

Kind of fun though, as I usually play as a Spanish team, I will play them in the cup in midweek, then the league at the weekend then the second leg of the cup the following Wednesday.

... well it's fun as long as you are better than them and win 3/3.
 
Just facing Man Utd 2 matches on EPL, 1 week after January transfer. Well, it's fun because De Gea scored own goal in both matches :D
 
It happens way too regularly, it has to be some sort of bug. I always thought it was a known issue.
 
It's happened since FM05, maybe even back to the CM days. I've just learned to live with it.
 
this happened with liverpool and arsenal a few years ago its not a bug as it is physically possible...
 
I have only since this happen to me once so far so I from my own experience I cannot say that it is a bug. Obviously if alot of people are experiencing it frequently then I can understand why it can be considered more than a coincidence.
 
Looking back on the fixture lists on 10 season in FM13 and 20 Seasons in FM12, It had only happened to me 3 times. One one occasion, it was an early cup game and on the other 2 occassions, it was the semi-finals in the FA Cup against Arsenal, Man U, teams that I normally face late in the competition. These times, I happened to play them late in the fixture list to.
 
Yeah I also get the feeling that this happens to me a lot..
 
If it can happen in real life then it should be able to happen ingame.

Aren't opponents drawn using randomly generated outcomes? if so then its not a bug its intended. The only time this might be a bug is if the teams are seeded at a certain level but appear before then.
 
It happens every year a match is repeated in cup and the next league match.

I'm speaking of real life.
