Howdy...

Is there any way to increase income, without selling key players?

The longer the season progresses, the club starts to lose money. I've tried checking out the "Talk to board" options, but I haven't found anything there.

Ideas?

I'm assuming that you mean that you spend more than you make from month to month?

Stadium expansions however its a case of pending money to make money

hmmm this year i had a turnover of 100m with 51m being players ive sold to make way for new face in my munich squad

On my save, i play friendly matches every day in pre-season up until 7 days before main season kicks off. A bit unorthodox i know but i know that there is a method to the madness :);

I know that i will bring in money/build up tactic familiarity (i always have 3 tactics) and builds team cohesion. 3 pros

I also know that my players will be tired and most likely injured. 2 cons

I think of it as, i would rather play too much then not enough

I also let the board/DOF bring players in and extend contracts;

I know that these guys may not bring the best players in, but they are more 'business orientated' then me (trying to save money), so i assume that any signing, on the worst case will benefit the club financially. Its a bit of a catch 22-but i look at the positive side of doing this.

Doing this restricts you from 'pumping up the wage/transfer bills' for that extra someone special when you are at the wage/transfer screens.

This works for me.

I'm playing with Rangers, and even though I'm way below the wage budget limit, I'm dropping almost £2 mill. every month (the message I get from the boardroom, is that even though the clubs financial situation is secure, it's expected to deteriorate in the coming months).

So, I don't know, maybe I'll go gung-ho for the european spots, or offload some key players and face the dire consequences of not having a squad good enough.

remember tv money is a lot less, you wont have that trouble further south

I've also been playing as Rangers, three seasons gone and i have won every league with ease and also a few cups, only signed good regens and relied on youth coming through! Finances still aint great but were building on them, got into europe through the scottish cup final and getting a wee bit of tv revenue, up and onwards!
