ok so i just got the new patch and called it time on my above average career on 9.2, which wasnt one of my longest but a successful game. As havent posted much so i thought i would take 5mins to share it with all you guys who's knowledge here has helped so much.

A glittering lower league career ends and the home tow hero returns to manage his home town club Swindon Town.

its with Swindon i spent my first 6 seasons:

08/09 League 1 9th, League cup 1st round, jp Trophy south semi's, FA cup fourth round replay with arsenal eventually lost away 3-1(nil nil at home. top scorer simon *** 17. best signing (on loan) Duran from liverpool 15 assists.

09/10 League 1 4th, Play off final losers on penalties, league cup QF, JP Runners up, Fa cup first round. top scorer simon *** 33, best signing joe lewis from p'boro 150k kept 15 clean sheets in league avg rating of 7.8

10/11 League 1 2nd promo to the championship!!, League cup 3rd round (embarressed 8-1 by man utd) JP winners v Darlington 3-0, Fa cup 3rd round, top scorer joint Coxy and re-signing of sam parkin both with 25 and of course Super sam was the real deal on a free from luton.

11/12 Championship 9th, a solid season with some amazing results along the way and nobody left with all the points from county ground 17 wins and 6 draws, if only i could of done this away. league cup QF lost 1-0 to cardiff, FA cup lost in QF to eventual winners West Ham 5-3, top scorer *** 21, no new signings.

12/13 RELEGATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 23rd in the championship just 5 wins all season, it all goes wrong, but the cup is my saving gracee, League cup SF losing 3-0 to liverpool, FA Cup reveng was sweet avopiding premier sides all the way to final where its time for revenge. Man U v STFC it didnt start good 2 down at half time, then Foster gives me a penalty and is yellowed 2-1 coxy and moments later its another penalty and a straight red for Johnny Evans. 2-2 coxy and in the 90th min + 5 Hatrick. i think that one game saved my bacon as was still only ment to battle against relegation. top scorer for the last time Simon *** 11 but i need money and 1.5 million is to much to turn away

13/14 Leage one 19th, , LC 1st round, JP 1st round, FA Cup 3rd round. with no *** and parkin retired its all down to youth up front and a regen call Mark Hall is top scorer with 13. The board and me agree its time to go and as the season ends i resign in search of a new challenge, with my head up high. like i said not greatest career but an eventfull one!

i wont complain it was a good stint with my home town club, any one else hav any home town lower league club stories?

Thats A Good career m8 you can be pround of SWINDON TOWN Im going to start one as my home town club now COME ON LINCOLN CITY LOL

boro were tricky on 9.2 i must admit and i usually like lower leagues so i generally avoid them but i just started a new one with them and im in december on 9.3 with them and going pretty well. semis of the carling cup n stuff so its looking bright so far

best of luck to you both with your home town and feel i may need some here comes swindon 9.3!

i like your ideas so im going 2 my home club which is newport county...lets hope i dont get relegated in the 1st season like i usually do in the lowest league.

I'm taking my hometown Bath through the leagues. Only at January of my first year, but we're the only blue square side left in the FA cup, just drawn Portsmouth so I'm pretty sure we're going out unless something amazing happens like they get too many sent off. On course to win trophy, conference cup and get promoted. I've only got 4 of the original Bath first team left, and the only reason they are still there is because no-one will buy them so dunno if I'm so much of a hometown hero as the squad is unrecognisable for anyone not following City for the last 5 months.
