Hesselink to Utrecht!

Jan Hesselink, who has been Ajax' Head of Youth Recruitment has left for FC Utrecht, in a bizarre turn of events. He has taken the job with rivals Utrecht on a one-year deal, if minimum expectations are met, a new contract will be discussed. Jan Hesselink has been hailed and praised for his work with Ajax but he felt it was time to move on.

He has played also, not making any international appearances however. He spent 8 years with FC Volendam (Making his first appearance in the 3rd year there) before spending 3 with Crystal Palace and then moving to Belgium to play with Anderlecht for another 4, he retired there, aged 33. 4 years ago he began working with Ajax and becoming the official Head of Youth Recruitment 30 months ago. Now, aged 39 he is in the hotseat at FC Utrecht.

Here I am, FC Utrecht...

A one year deal, £4,000 a week. If I finish in the top half, we discuss new terms. I have a decent side but I do need to add to it, I have a few players in mind.

The Team

Yeah, a nice side. Two new signings, Vito Mannone in the sticks along with Belgian striker, Emile Mpenza up front.
