Cheap to buy. Getting old though (Beginning of first season you can get him for 500k, im paying more.. towards end of first season)
Expensive wages.
£80,000 p/w + is what he wants from me

His stats are top notch though.

If you have plenty of wages to spend.. and want a solid Midfielder for a few years. Why not? He may not be the best 'investment' financial wise but i'm sure he'll lead to your team winning some matches

It's actually easier to loan him. You can pay 50% of his wages and set a future fee of 500k after the 1st season. Saves 40k on the wage bill.

when you offer him a contract at the end of the season though, surely he'll want the big wages?

Just wondering, what date is your game at now? Because I can see that you've arranged to sign him for the second season when by the time that rolls around, his stats could've decreased.
