Im Arsenal, first season - which one ?

If you are desperate for a keeper, then go with akinfeev which i would becuase i hate almunia lol. but if almunia is doing well for you then get asenjo as he turns into an amazing keeper.
 
i would say akinfeev because when almunia retires u can get asenjo :p
 
akinfeev deffo class kepper but hugo lloris is world class
 
I fully agree with danny.t, as that is excatly what I do. Akinfeev is a very good GK now, but it takes a bit of time for Asenjo to develop into a very good GK (which is what happens). Lloris is also very good (I played with all 3 before), but he is just so expensive, and I try to make the game as realistic as possible, and will never blow a full years transfer budget just for Lloris, even with selling dead wood.

My personal opinon is that Frey or Akinfeev are the two best keepers you can get on the game (excluding Casillas, Cech and Co. cos they will cost a fortune!)
 
akinfeev for definats but few years in asenjo is just as good
 
i would go for Asenjo because you can always get him for roughly £8 million. i have never bought Akinfeev because i find him expensive.
 
Akinfeevs absolutely class for me. Might be abit expensive to buy but ive had him 2 seasons and his values gone up to £25 million and hes the second best keeper in the game, behind Casillas.
 
Scouts says I would have to offer at least 20.5M pounds for Akinfeev.. Much too expensive for me.
 
basically, akinfeev is for the better financed teams and asenjo is for teams with around 8million.
 
Well i plumped for Asenjo (£8M) :) after offering £20M for Akinfeev and it being rejected. :O I only had £25M and i still need a CM so Akinfeev was out of the equation for now. :/

Akinfeev!! omg i just got this keeper this season and the first 5 games we conceded 6 goals. He got settles and now its been a long time since they scored on him. And he pulls off ridiculous saves.

in 34 I scored 73(45in EPL) and conceded 15 (only 6 in EPL)
 
i prefer almunia to both tbh, not the biggest fan of spending another 20m+(for akinfeev anyway) of a keeper when you got a capable keeper in almunia.

plus having experienced keepers is better than youth.
