Hey, how are ya?

Just purchased FM09 and got adviesd to sign up here, so here I am!

I've never played an of the FM series so it's all new to me, any hints & tips is GREATLY appreciated!

From what I've read QPR are a good team to start with, just need to install the patches and I'm ready to go! <) (<--- best smiley ever!)

Well congratulations on your purchase, you will not be dissapointed. Dont expect to start playing games right from the off, its avery in depth game but also very enjoyable.......do not be tempted to cheat either lol

Yes, TOTAL n00b! My bro-in-law plays this a lot, totalled 19 days of play time so far so will hopefully get some pointers from him!

buf, needed like 250hours with a top side and an everyday visit to the site to understand the game. Pretty much visualise a team you like the style and copy it (don't do it if you're stock city and you're impressed by brazil, won't work), that's what I did on fm 08 and spain went to the finals to loose against germany (nonsense). If struggling with tactics, don't forget that preset tactics are often done according to TTF so you can pick either of them and tweak them to your players.
Finally, read TTF its nerd, its a waste of time where you could eb speaking to chicks, but you'll know how to make SOLID tactics.
