Right, I have just started a new game as newcastle.
Any suggestions at all would help a lot!
Especially I would like to know who I should sell and for how much,
and who should I buy who is value for money????

jesus, cant you do anything on your own? just sell him for as much as possible, sign who you think the team needs and sell who doesnt fit in your plans

why buy a game then ask someone what to do at every opportunity!
 
ameobi is the hardest player ever to sell, i could not give him away on an 08 game, not sure if there is more intrest in him on 09 though
 
sell michael owen just as he gets back from injury 28th august approx.
about 5million, the uve got wage budget to play wiv
 
my advice to you is to just give up... newcastle are a lost cause XD
 
alright mate.

my advice is to sell the following and try gettin the players in brackets as replacements:

Geremi (Franco Zuculini)
Duff (Alexis Sanchez)
Ameobi (Jason Gaulthier)
Cacapa (Kyriakos Papadopoulos)
Owen -only if you can get more than 7mil- (Keirrison)
Lovenkrands (John Fleck)
Xisco (Oscar Cardozo)
Beye (Davide Santon)

If you manage to sell those players you should make all the money needed to buy replacements. Also you'll make loads of money by cutting down on the wages of your players. You will probably need to dip into your transfer budget to buy Cardozo and Keirrison.

Bojan on a free transfer at the end of the first season. play him in the right way and he'll give you 30+ goals a season!
 
on what patch because we don't even no what patch he's playing

Anyway back on topic.
Never played as the Skunks but in all my games they always seem to suffer up front. Owen usually leaves for peanuts and does well. Now heres what i have noticed he usually ends up at Villa or Pompey and plays off Crouch or Heskey. Maybe a big forward for him to play off would be a good start. also a keeper may be a good idea.
 
well i have nothing against people asking questions or for help but when people come on asking people to play the game for them i think its a bit far.

theres plenty of player threads so theres plenty of signing inspiration and tactical help if people need it

asking who to sell and how much for i thinks a bit far, just play the game yourself, sell who you dont need and sell them for as much as you can get for them! i dont see the appeal of getting help every step of a game!
 
The simple thing is if you dot like the thread don't post! There is nothing out there saying you must reply....unless of course post counts make you feel better. Let those of us who want to chip in chip in and that way you aren't bothered.
 
i sold Martins for 13mil and Owen for 10mil in first season brought in Oscar Cardozo in Jan. ended up my top goalscorer.
 
I've started a new season with Magpies, just signed Asenjo because Harper isn't prem quality tbh, also trying to sign Palombo or another good DM, I'm also playin 4-3-3 with LW Duff and RW Jonas, would I be better off playing a 4-4-2 with Newcastle?
