Players outside match squad?

This may be a bit of a stupid question but here goes..

Ive been playin fm for a while now and just have started a new season with leicester. When I select the squad I have 8/9 subs but when i proceed to the match it says I have selected 6 subs outisde the match squad but their all in the first squad and not available for reserves.
This has never happenned before so I dont really know whats happenned, does anyone know what happenned and how to fix this?

Just use the Clear Selection option and do it again see what happens if you havent done so before.
