Tactical Knowledge attribute good for what?

What Tactical Knowledge attribute is useful for?
 
for tactical knowledge I guess.
Or maybe it is just another reaosn more for FM to make a manual that actually makes sense.

Is it useful for coaches?

I mean "Tactical Knowledge"(mental attribute) NOT "Tactical"(coaching attribute)
 
if your asistant manager has good ratings for tactical knowledge it means that in your game he can spot dangers that maybe you cant

so he will help you in game like for example he will say - tell your players to tackle hard on cristiano ronaldo or something.

if you get me.

Just out of interest Gatid could you recommend me a good AM or not?
 
aint playing fm atm so just use the search and find any1 who has high ratings for tactical knowledge, motivation, determination and level of discipline. thats what i look for anyway.

Ok cheers, cos i have one 'Manolo Ruiz' but he is retiring at the end of this season so ill have a little search using those filters ;)
 
tassotti, some say luzhny, pat rice, its pretty difficult to find a complete assistant, but check those three one will do.
 
its good for ur scout thats asessing ur next opponent as u get more insight.
 
yeah but scouts in the end never tell you something you don't know, they could against teams you don't know, but it is precisely those teams they say nothing about, and the assistant in the end no matter what tells you to tackle evrybody (I totally disagree with that) and show onto wrong foot... everybody and press... eevrybody, try it you'll see. honestly the assistant in the end is just there to have a second opinion on players, that's why I have tassotti who has 19-19 in judging potential and current ability, its pretty much like the scouts, you don't need him to know that Rooney is a must buy, you can check his stats, they're good only for regens because you don't know what they'll turn into.
All this to say that in the end they're useless.
