Steam Workshop :: Football Legends

426 Football Legends re-created as 18 year olds at the club they played the most games for.

Subscribe - Load FM14 - Select Downloads - Select Steam Workshop - Install Database - Start New Game.

This database has taken me weeks to complete so please leave me some thoughts on it and feel free to let me know if you spot any mistakes.
 
I would have added in Valderrama, Andres Escobar, Asprilla and Higuita for Colombia and maybe the de Boer brothers, Jim Work, John Collins, Ally McCoist but that my option :)

Spectacular. Absolutely stunning work.
Haven't tried it yet but am very keen to do it if i can download the file. I dont seem to be able to do it with steam comunity workshop. Can you post a link here please?

Great work, Will. And can I say "Curses" too because I've been working on a legends database too and have so far finished about 300 British players since 1966. You have done a really good job because, I don't know about you but I'm finding that each one takes about 10 - 15 minutes to create so you have put in some long hours here. I'm looking forward to downloading it and seeing what you have and maybe even merging my legends with yours, but for my use only (A).

Any chance of a Alan Shearer print screen? i'll download if i feel he's up to scratch ;)
 
Would you consider doing some legends of FC Porto. For example the Goalkeeper Vitor Baia, the keeper with most titles ever. Or the striker Fernando Gomes, who won 2 golden boots.Even Fernando Couto and Jorge Costa (the central defenders) were legends. Also Paulo Futre (not only Porto, also Atletico de Madrid legend) or Madjer.
Or maybe Ricardo Quaresma, the player who was a great wonderkid and was in Barcelona and was compared to Ronaldo, people did not know who would be better.He then came to Porto and had success but flopped in inter and chelsea.
Also, arguably the best portuguese midfielder ever and one of the best ever in the world : Deco.
This are just some suggestions,anyway the database is great.

Will, are the players attributes fully altered or have you selected key attributes only, like you did last year?

no the majority of the players attributes are set at zero and the game generates them randomly as I do not know enough about the majority of the players to do them justice, my Modern Day Legends database has all of the attributes filled out to the best of my knowledge.
 
I am doing the full attributes and histories for players, which takes ages and lots of reading and film viewing, but my database won't be done for quite a while yet I'm afraid. I expect that you will be able to get a good representation from Will's excellent list and ratings of players and you can always add key attributes to his base if you want greater accuracy.
 
hey great work for this legends update. but want to know, why players who are still playing are 18yrs? and i can't also find the short-list too, thanks a lot.
 
Just wondering, how many of the famous Magical Magyars are in your team? Would be an awesome save to start off in the Hungarian league with one of their big teams.

And I'm assuming they all have PA's of -10?
(sorry if you already said that and i missed it!)
 
someone with some know-how should try and release a facepack for this, that would be amazing, otherwise great job dude
