I am in my 4th season with Southampton. Finished 15th first season, then 1st, then 2nd (3 points behind), using very successful tactics from the forums. Now in this season I have the strongest squad I have ever had in this career, my signings from previous seasons have gelled and I only made a few strong signings this season and morale has always been superb. Yet I am on the verge of losing my job because we have dropped too many points and look like we have dropped off the pace too much to win the title this year. The 'struggling' began at the back end of last season and is probably the reason we finished 2nd rather than 1st. I have tried all kinds of tactics but nothing seems to ever change.
We have 60-70% possession every match and simply fail to win. It happens so often that the team that has had one clear cut chance as opposed to my four or five and we still don't beat them. I talk to my players very often, I say the right things in press conferences (again, morale is often very good or superb), my team talks always seem to motivate them, my reputation is high (due to winning the league before). We beat City 3-0 away and absolutely dominated a strong Arsenal team (they had 1 shot in that match) yet we struggled to draw against many lesser teams (where they had 2 or 3 shots and we had 20-30!) despite my players having great morale, being in amazing form (albeit winning the less important matches and failing to win the more important ones).
The signings I've made have been 90% amazing signings, and have almost all been very good Premier league footballers and have fit in pretty well, players like Aguero, Suarez, Borini, Huth, Evans, and great foreign players like Valbuena, Khedira, Yarmolenko, Garmash and Jefferson. My team still vastly consists of the great young talent Saints start with, bar Adam Lallana and Morgan Scheniderlin.

It's as if whether my team wins or not is completely random and by chance, because we dominate almost every single match and end up chasing a draw because the other team has scored a goal out of nowhere, for no reason whatsoever.
