Recall option not appearing?

My regen is out on loan to Levante until the end of the season, I have a recall option on him and it will not allow me to recall him, WTF?!?!

Are you in a transfer window? As far as i can remember the recall option only exists/works in a transfer window i.e. in the summer or in January.

Just got January transfer window and have now recalled him, thankyou! Didn't know that was how the recall option works!

i am having the same problem but the recall option is when you can recall a player with 24hrs notice. kind of makes it obsolete if it works like that now. i have a keeper on loan at stoke and the terms were he'd be first team and they went back on their word and he's just going to waste at the minute. Frustrated!!!!
