Regens before start of season

Decided to start a new save and when the assistant asked if i wanted an intr-squad friendle i accepted then when he asked who was available for the reserve squad i clicked all of the 1st team, once you do that then regens should appear in dark look through the regens and see whos good and sign them up.After all that just right click all the 1st team squad as not available for the reserve squad until match fit

Have you gave it a go? i havent tried it with any top english teams but theyll probably get far more better regens given theyll have excellent facilities
 
This sounds interesting, but I can't quite follow how to do it.. Do you mind explaining a little better? :)
 
The ones i've just got with arsenal are outrageous and all English. Amazing.

when you first start your game the players need match fitness so you get asked if you want an intra-squad match and because its an intra squad game (1st team vs reserves) your assistant manager usually asks if anyone in the 1st team is available for the reserve team,I choose the all players that need match practice option and as soon as i chose that some regens appeared in dark, after that i just looked through which regens were good enough for my team and signed them up on long term contracts. hope this explained it a little better

i dont think theyre supposed to be tbh, i think theyre just there to get through 1 or 2 games until the other players are fitter but i think its a good way to get players especially if your a smaller club with no funds

It could be pretty useful when managing certain teams who have small squad.

I can train them, but i couldn't tutor them. they seemed to be stuck in that not really there phase for a few weeks, their values stayed at - or 850 pound. after a month they are all worth like 500k so maybe now i'll be able to tutor them
 
i just started a new game to test this, and my assistant manager doesnt offer an inta squad match?
