Can we require player's original team still pays his a part of wage after transfer?

I mean sometimes we sell players to AI, and who require us to pay a part of wage if you want he leaves.
So can we do that when we buy some high wage players? I don't know how to do that.

One of the annoying things about FM. I've never seen a player accept a substantially lower contract with my (unless I exploit bonuses).. Yet they expect me to pay an amount of their wages when the player is sold. Oh well... Hopefully they will sort this soon.

The main problem with the game for me in general is the bonuses the AI get that we don't, the AI negotiate better prices for players than we do, sometimes the same players :S also the issue you mentioned and some ME problems. It's not major things but the little things added together gives a slight unbalanced playing field, but then I guess there's also the point that you're not an AI so you have the advantage of logic.

Is it not player based anyway? If the player accepts a lower wage then he asks his current club to pay him an amount until his contract ends. So if you were to sign a player who accepts a lesser wage then it'd be up to him to ask the club he's leaving to keep paying him until his contract would've ended.

Yeah.. But players don't accept lower wages when joining your club, not to the extent they do when joining AI teams. You'd be lucky to get a player to take a 10% pay cut yet when joining an AI team they're willing to take a 50% drop in wages.

I forgot once, i was playing a mess about game, put all my players contracts to 50 years, i was asking in 2018, to pay x% of a players contract till it expired in 2075.. doh!

If they give us the same weapons that the AI have, the game will be unbalanced for most of us, since the AI is not a human mind.
