New to the editor

Hi there I'm new to the editor and I was wondering if anyone could help me.

Basically, I want to make me and my friends on FM as players. I have done this but I can't seem to figure out the best CAs and PAs for the players.

What would be the best CA and PA combinations for if I want the players to be bad at the start but develop into world beaters?

It seems I either set them too good straight away and get signed by City, United etc or too bad and not develop properly.

Make them around 60 CA and a -8 PA. Presuming you have them as free transfers? Now matter what CA if good PA the big clubs will pick them up quickly due to scouts knowledge. If you want yourselves to stay low down, add yourselfs to a lower league club on 8 year contracts and set the club as favoured club (100). More likely to stay.
