Striker roles that score alot?

Atm I have DLP s and AF a ... and their combination doesn't seem to be working very well..
could anyone help me

A. no support from midfielder, so they don't have any chance, or
B. your striker is ****

You have to make sure that your player roles work with the tactics that you're playing and also that the players are suitable for that role.

Southampton 2nd season lallana on the right wing Nicolas Gaitan left wing lambert and Cardozo both upfront

Gaitan and lallana to cross from deep and shoot less often

lambert 21 goals and 3 assists.... Cardozo 11goals 5 assists

3rd in the league 17 games remaining

I play as Southampton. I've been getting goals galore from a Deep-Lying Forward with Shadow Striker combination in a 4-4-1-1. Here's a link to my thread explaining exactly how I did it:

Thanks for this. Im having serious 2nd season syndrome with southampton. Cant get anything. My problem is my 2 midfielders in the middle. No matter who I play and in what rolls i can never get stats above 6.8

If you're in your second season, then Ward-Prowse is still quite young but Morgan Schneiderlin should be at it. See my link above - I gave full chapter and verse on how I used them. I'm now up to season 2021/22 - Morgan has moved on but Ward-Prowse is now my skipper. We've won the Prem twice (and well on course for no.3), the Europa Cup once, a bunch of FAs and Capital Ones and I've been knocked out the Champions League semis in both the last two seasons.
