Does anyone have any particular setup when it comes to defending free kicks? I seem to be getting an awful lot of players unmarked randomly from free kicks, and the opposition just pass it short to a guy standing beside the rest of my team on his own..

They're on default right now, I haven't changed anything. Just wondering if anyone has an idea on how to solve this. It happens pretty frequently.

At the moment I'm not having that issue, my current applied ideas are:

4 men in wall. The two centerbacks and the next two best jumpers. Idea is with better jumping getting the ball right above of them and into goal will be harder.

1 man stay forward to have a chance at counterattacks.

Everyone else man mark.

Note that indirect freekicks from a side of the area use defend corners instructions.

The conention point with my setup is whether the better jumping is worth having in man mark two non defenders in place of the centerbacks.

I never knew indirect freekicks from a side used defend corner instructions. That could be part of the problem. I'm using different corner instructions. Perhaps that's why a man is being left unmarked consistently in freekicks. Thanks. I'll give what you said a try. :)
