I've just come back from Holiday in Turkey which has inspired me to start a new story. I managed to buy a snide Besiktas shirt over there and that has been the inspiration for this career.

Besiktas are predicted to finish 3rd in the league and are currently way behind Fenerbache and Galtasaray in terms of quality and money at the moment. I am intending to stay here for a while and knock these two off their perch. We aren't in any European competition at the moment so hopefully this will be a positive for us over this season, allowing us to focus completely on the league.

I have loaded up a few leagues so may move on if an exciting challenge comes along (England is currently view-only).


The league is currently ranked 10th in the world, hopefully I will be able to improve this during my time at Besiktas. I will also be looking at taking over the Turkey national team if I stay here for a while.
I haven't looked at where I'm looking to strengthen or who are my strongest players but I'll update you soon.

Hugo Almeida joins English Premier League side Southampton for a fee of £2.5 million. Almeida was our highest paid player on £48k a week and was using one of our foreigner spots (only allowed 10, currently have 8). I will give a full low-down of my squad and my transfer targets in the next post.

17 year old Santi Mina joins for £2.9 million from Spanish side Celta Vigo. He won't join the side until January and I'll be looking to play him in the first team straight away.

Squad Overview - Goalkeepers

In goal we have Tolga Zengin who will be our starting goalkeeper. He will be backed up by Cenk Gonen. I won't be making any changes to the goalkeeping department for the time being.


Zengin has been capped 5 times by Turkey and I'm hoping he will be my starting goalkeeper for the considerable future.

The defence looks pretty solid on paper so it's unlikely that I will be making any changes in this department. Sivok is probably my best defender, expecting him to be a rock for me at the back.

Midfielders

All of my squad is quite solid so fortunately for me, I probably won't need to strengthen any areas. Former Everton midfielder Manuel Fernandes is my star man in midfielder but his contract runs out at the end of the season so we'll have to see what happens there. Got high hopes Muhammed Demirci who at 19 years old looks a great player.

Strikers

We are a bit light in the striking department so this is the only position that I will be looking to strengthen. Filip Holosko is my best striker and I expect him to score a few for us this season.​

Manuel Fernandes leaves for a fee of £7.75 million to LIGA BBVA side Real Sociedad. Fernandes would of been a star player for me this season but wanted to leave and was refusing to sign a new deal so I had to cash in for him.

Season starts soon.
