I am currently in my 5th season with Rangers so will give everyone a quick catch up on how the previous seasons have gone.

View attachment 362004
Here are the transfers from my first season, ofcourse with Rangers being under a transfer embargo I can only sign free agents but there was no new signings in my first season as I felt the squad was adequate enough. Two players did leave though, these players being youth talents.

View attachment 362003
Here is the league table for our first season, we win the league comfortably which was expected! I was unable to get screenshots from cup competitions for my first season as it was so long ago but here are the results.

We reached the semi final of the Challenge Cup but lost to Aidrie 1-0. Hugely disappointing as we expected and aimed to win it.

Our League Cup campaign was over before it had even began when we exited in the first round in a 3-1 defeat against Dunfermline.

We had a great Scottish Cup run reaching the semi final but lost heartbreakingly to Celtic 4-1.

2nd Season
View attachment 362001
Our second season signings saw two men come in, former Rangers hero Peter Lovenkrands returned on a free for a second spell at the club. Manchester City youth team drop out Devante Cole also joined the team on a free as he HAD great potential. No real news on players going out as a few players left for free, these being Cribari, Gallacher, Simonsen etc.

View attachment 361999
We miss out on the Challenge Cup again in what was our last chance to lift it! Falkirk beat us in the final but it is another disappointment for us.

View attachment 361997
Can't quite believe this exit! We had a decent run and to lose at home to a side in the same division and struggling to stay in the league is hugely disappointing!

View attachment 361996
Our journey back to the top takes a huge step as we win our first major silverware! Delighted to win the League Cup! We were comfortable until Faure's red card, Motherwell got back in but Templeton got the winner late on. BRILLIANT!

View attachment 361995
Here is how the league season finished for us! We didn't win it comfortably but we won it and that was the main thing. We only got 1 point from last two games which was why Hamilton finished as close as they did. Hamilton were great throughout the season and playing them was stressful all season long, they always frustrated us and we had a memorable 7-4 win over them in the league which was a cracker for the neutrals, as they came from being 2 goals down twice!

View attachment 361991
Our first season back in the big league saw us need new faces in as big players left. Only sold these big players as they were nearing end of contracts and wanted paid too much, which ofcourse we don't have the finances to allow. Kevin Thomson returns for a second spell at Rangers, the funds made from selling players are kept as we only spend 1m in our first season back to the top after raising 5m. Most of the 5m went towards contracts of players I was desperate to keep at the club. David Stockdale and David Goodwillie ofcourse asked for alot of wages.

More updates to follow, which will inlcude my first season back in the SPL along with my 4th and 5th season!

this is interesting and i'm going to follow.

Our League Cup campaign is over rather quickly as Hibs knock us out at their home stadium in the quarter finals.

View attachment 361976
Another proud accomplishment for us as we win the Scottish Cup this season. One step better than last year and it tops off a great first season for us back in the top league of Scottish football!

View attachment 361975
Our first season back at the top see's us finish 5th. A bit disappointing but at the same time we're still building for the new season! A Scottish Cup win does mean we will get Europa League football which is great news as we continue to grow!

View attachment 361974Our summer signings for season 4 are rather exciting! Club legend and all time leading league goal scorer Kris Boyd returns for a second spell! Steven Davis also returns for a second spell! Cauley Woodrow looks a fantastic signing on a free transfer. Ben Nugent also signs after spending last season on loan. No big transfers out going as it's mostly just released players and loans!

View attachment 361973
A long Europa League qualification process began here which was our first match back in Europe! We start with a win in the 2nd qualifying round.

View attachment 361972
We didn't make it easy for ourselves here! We were almost out until Woodrow rescued us with his first Rangers goal! But Valerenga score late to force extra time but we get through in the end. This round was tougher than we'd hoped.

View attachment 361970
If last round was tough this one would be even tougher, But what a start! We comfortably win our first leg and take a massive step towards the next round.

View attachment 361969
We don't like to make it easy for ourselves. 4-1 down at half time meant 2 Sivasspor second half goals would take them though but vitally Sukar scores and we go through.

View attachment 361968
Another tough draw in which we meet a German side! A phenomenal 3 away goals gives us huge hopes to get to the group stage despite conceding 4. We have been strong at Ibrox in Europe so I'm confident.

View attachment 361967
We draw with Dusseldorf on aggregate but a home win see's us go through on away goals! Woodrow and Ameobi on the score sheet again! Both were signed on free transfers, Ameobi had a great first season and Woodrow is already looking like he'll be a magnificent capture.

View attachment 361965
Sadly we go out in the group stages finishing bottom, we were unable to even get one win!

View attachment 361964
Hibs put us out another big domestic cup! They done it last year in the League Cup and repeat it a season later in the Scottish Cup as we're unable to defend our title.

View attachment 361963
We win our second League Cup in my time as manager! This time beats last with us beating Celtic in the final this time! They dominated but our finishing proved better as Woodrow nets a double!

View attachment 361962
We improve from last year to finish 3rd and qualify for the Europa League again! A proud day for Danny Lennon as he wins his and St Mirren's first ever league title! What a job he has done and I'm surprised he's still at the club and not sealed a move down south! It was a fantastic title race as it was a four way race right until the last day!

View attachment 361961
Sebastien Faure has been a great servant for me as manager having spent four seasons with him! He leaves for Wigan which means we need a replacement! I brought in two new centre backs, Southampton's youth graduate Jack Stephens signs for free as his contract at Southampton expired, and Luke McCullough joins from Motherwell for just under 1m. Junior Hoilett also looks a fantastic signing as he joins on a free aswell.

More Updates to follow for season 5!

View attachment 361892
Our 5th season began in Bulgaria qualifying for Europe, we started in the 2nd qualifying round once again this year and started well with a good away win.

View attachment 361891
Having won the first leg away I was confident we'd win the second leg and go through. We did win but our finishing was disappointing and stopped it from being comfortable in a game where our opponents had 2 shots with none on target.

View attachment 361888
The 3rd qualifying round see's us draw Malmo, the first leg is played at Ibrox and we win without any problems.

View attachment 361886
We once again make it had for ourselves but a Ryan Christie goal 9 minutes from time means we could relax a bit as that all but sealed us through.

View attachment 361885
We knew if we got through this round we'd be into the group stages, great result in the first leg at Ibrox despite conceding an away goal with not long left.

View attachment 361884
Dynamo Kyiv was without a doubt a tough draw. Fraser Aird's first minute away goal here kept us confident and we lost 2-1 but that was enough to see us progress to the group stages again!

View attachment 361883
It's a proud group stage for us as we go through second in a very tough group! We were expected to finish third but some phenomenal results guided us through. Our most memorable group stage win was our away win in Rome where Woodrow came off the bench to score two late goals and win us the game! Brilliant!

View attachment 361882
My first match in the knock out stages off a European competition! We draw Manchester United and no surprise we're massive underdogs in this tie. It was always going to be tough and we lose the first leg at Ibrox failing to cause them any real problems.

View attachment 361881
We perform better at Old Trafford and I'm left disappointed we weren't able to nick a goal! The second leg is the same score as the first and we exit the competition.

View attachment 361880
Elsewhere in our season five we exit the League Cup at home to St Mirren which was hugely disappointing. St Mirren just seem to be our bogey team and we just can never seem to beat them! Danny Lennon has done a great job there though and guides them to their second League Cup triumph in this season!

View attachment 361879
So disappointed with this! The winner was really going the lift the trophy from this match and we were the better team! We were 2-0 up which makes it even more frustrating!

GLASGOW RANGERS CHAMPIONS!
View attachment 361878
What a feeling! Seven years without the title is ended in our third season back in Scotland's top league! Absolutely delighted! Title number 55 is in the bag!

View attachment 361877
We have now caught up with where I am at and I will now update with every match as we have Champions League matches next season! Our signings for next year see's Cammy Bell return, he left for 2m and returns to Ibrox very quickly and basically for nothing! Great Signing! We got a big budget from winning the league and I had a few positions I wanted to strenghten! Luke McCullough was the only notable player leaving as he left for 2m having signed from Motherwell last season for 850k. Kyle Bartley signs permanently having spent two seasons on loan at Rangers in the past. Divock origi a man who's looked good at the World Cup in real life signs for almost nothing! John Souttar is a player I've chased for years now and we finally capture him on loan! Our final signing is 22 year old Croatian left back Kurtovic who has great potential and will play back up to club captain Lee Wallace!

Throughout my five seasons, club captain Lee Wallace has mostly been the main man! He's already lifted the three major trophies in Scotland as Rangers Captain and hopefully there will be much more for him to follow!

Season 6 updates to come!

There's an exciting season ahead as we're in the Champions League for the first time in my management! We also look to defend our League title and hopefully win a domestic cup if not both. We've strengthened our team and we're ready for the challenge!

View attachment 361718
Our season journey and Champions League campaign starts here! We went behind but come back to get an important home win! Debut goal for our summer signing Origi!

View attachment 361717
Our first league match in our title defence is at home to newly promoted Dundee! A double from Origi on his league debut see's us get the win!

View attachment 361716
We get an away draw in our second leg with Kobenhavn and that's enough to send us to the next round which if we get past we'll be in the group stages! Divock Origi scoring again here as he's already showing he's got plenty of goals in him.

View attachment 361714
A great start to the league campaign continues as we make it two wins from two! Divock Origi scoring once again!

View attachment 361713
Origi can't stop scoring! Fifth game of the season and he's scored in every one so far!

View attachment 361712
Woodrow is having a slow start towards scoring at the start of this campaign but nets a goal for us here to continue a good league start! Origi still continues to flourish and seems to have overtaken as Woodrow as our top dog! We ofcourse know Woodrow is just hitting a dry spell and once at his best these two will be unplayable together!

View attachment 361711
This was a gutter as Olympiakos score in stoppage time to steal a first leg win, we were so close to a draw we defended superbly! Great performance.

Thats's the end of August's results! Hopefully next month we will book a place in the group stages of the Champions League, but we will have to beat Olympiakos at Ibrox! Origi has made a blistering start and hopefully more of the same will follow!

More updates to follow.

View attachment 361028
Aberdeen come to Ibrox and we play them off the pitch, but the later the game went on the more I was worried they'd break away and score as we missed chance after chance. Goodwillie missed a penalty but eventually a late own goal sealed victory!

View attachment 361027
We meet Dundee United away in the league next and we were pretty poor at creating chances! A second half double from Dundee United's young loan signing seals victory as he was unplayable.

View attachment 361026
My first Champions League match is one I should've won! we were the better team despite Benfica having most of the ball. We created plenty chances but unfortunately draw.

View attachment 361025
Celtic's horrid league start continues as we beat them at Ibrox! Cauley Woodrow scores against them again as he just loves Old Firm Derbies!

View attachment 361024
Comfortable win for us in the League Cup see's us through to the next round!

View attachment 361023
The month ends with an epic at Easter Road as we beat Hibs 4-3 with an origi hattrick!

Great month for us as we lost only once, which was a tough one away to United! We started our Champions League group stage campaign and we pick up a decent draw.

More updates to follow for the month of October!

Also Wayne Rooney is a free agent and has been scouted as a four star player! His wages would be around 25k to 35k a week so I was wondering if anyone thinks I should bring him to the club? I'm unsure in case he's poor and I end up wasting all those wages on him.

We start the new month in Barcelona in Champions league action, how will we get on...

View attachment 361020
Dreadful start to October but it's Barcelona so would always going to be difficult! Was pleased with how many shots we got away but totally disappointed at the amount of opportunities we gave them, no surprises we go to bottom in the group after this as PSG beat Benfica.

View attachment 361016
Was important we bounced back here after mid week and we do enough to win!

View attachment 361013
Poor result. We go ahead but a familiar face levels for Kilmarnock, Charlie Telfer a man we sold in my first season! Kyle Bartley is also sent off to round up a poor day.

View attachment 361011
We do of course bounce back from the Kilmarnock game with a result in which is up there with our away win over Roma last season! Hoilett equalises 3 mins from time for an unbelievable result!

View attachment 361008
Our poor run without a win continues as we go 2-0 down at half time! Luckily we get two second half goals and get a point. First half ruined it for us though.

View attachment 361006
The month ends with a derby away to Celtic in the League Cup, Celtic still haven't really started this season so we were hopeful of a good result! We were separated by one goal and it was a bit of a poor one for our keeper to lose.

That's the end of October, our poorest month of the season without a doubt as we've hit a woeful run! Celtic are catching us in the League whilst St Mirren and Dundee United are looking like good challengers for this campaign! Can Danny Lennon lift a second League title with St Mirren?

More updates to follow.

did you bring Rooney to Rangers
Not yet, he's still a free agent. I'm a couple months ahead on my game and I'm just too lazy to get those two months uploaded here haha, I'm going to do it soon! Can't decide whether or not to get Rooney, might just do it because it's him.

View attachment 360730
So PSG come to Ibrox! We're on a poor run and I wasn't really expecting it to change here. Wallace made it harder with an early red card as we taste defeat.

View attachment 360729
Poor result against a team who haven't been upto much this season. To sum the game up we bombard their goal, score once, miss a penalty, then a long ball forward and they score! Couldn't have been more angry!

View attachment 360728
Big win for us here to try lift our spirits! Even a hat trick for Woodrow to hopefully boost his morale after a poor start to the season.

View attachment 360727
This was pleasing, we struggled to kill the game but I put Ameobi on for 20 minutes and he ran riot! A hat trick for the super sub!

View attachment 360724
Game number five in the group stages and we're now out of Europe! Deservingly Benfica win and will clinch third. We'll now look towards next year and focus on fixing our league form!

December!
View attachment 360722
I'm aiming to lift the Scottish Cup this season and we stay on track with a comfortable win here! Ameobi scores all four goals as he was just unplayable!

View attachment 360720
Dreadful result in a big game! I hate playing St Mirren and once again they get away with murder as we allow them to leave Ibrox with a result!

View attachment 360715
Was very pleased with the effort from my team in this one! Thought we defended well and got alot more of the ball than you'd expect! We go out on a decent performance.

View attachment 360712
Here's how the group ends! Benfica were slaughtered worse than what we were off the big two really but they did manage a point at home to Barcelona! Over for us until next year anyway where we will hopefully not get such a strong group!

View attachment 360710
Woodrow's early goal is enough for us here! We weren't great but we do enough, we're just not consistent at the moment.

View attachment 360707
United look good this season! We had a lot of the ball but our creativity is dreadful at the moment!

View attachment 360706
Third old firm game of the season see's us well beaten! I tried to attack this match as I needed the win and they were just so much better than us. Origi nets a goal, he's been very quiet recently in front of goal.

View attachment 360731
This is the type of game that can really infuriate, we seemed controlled first half then Hibs score a quick fire second half double! We re take the lead, but once again through it away only minutes later! We will struggle to win trophies if we can't cut this out!

View attachment 360705
League table at the end of the year see's us third but we're not looking great and Celtic are on a fantastic run! Hugely disappointed to let the lead we had on Celtic disappear especially for it to disappear so early in the season! It looks like it'll be a four way race again which is exciting, who said the Scottish League was poor?!

Some good news at the end of the month is that with John Souttar's contract with Arsenal expiring at the end of the season we have snapped him up for next year! Very excited about this although his loan spell ends in January.

More updates to follow.

We are back! Let's get the month of January underway!

View attachment 356373
We get a great start to the new year with a commanding win! Goodwillie off the bench to score, he hasn't really featured since his first season with us!

View attachment 356372
This game was incredibly frustrating! We took the lead 3 times and honestly thought we'd win this in the end but somehow lose! We're slipping away from the teams at the top with woeful results!

View attachment 356371
This one was a must win and Goodwillie sneaks in a goal again! Good form coming from him has been a huge surprise.

View attachment 356370
Huge win here courtesy of Cauley Woodrow! Woodrow is definitely one of my favourite players!

View attachment 356369
We're slipping away from Celtic after a mixed month! We really need a great run to turn things around!

February results will follow soon.

This update includes February and March, here's how we got on.

First of all though we are able to announce John Souttar will join us in the summer as his Arsenal contract will expire! Great signing, although he has gone back to Arsenal until then as his loan finished.
199682-john-souttar-in-action-for-dundee-utd.jpg

We can also announce the signing of Wayne Rooney on a free transfer!!

View attachment 355958
We start off in Scottish Cup action and comfortably book a place in the next round where we'll face Ross County. Wayne Rooney comes off the bench to score his first for the club!

View attachment 355957
Disappointing result for us again, we've been too inconsistent this season and things need to change!

View attachment 355956
We drew here earlier in the season but ensured we got the win this time. Goodwillie's good run of goals continuing!

View attachment 355955
Have I mentioned my hate for St Mirren? What even happened here?

View attachment 355954
We bounce right back here with a great win! First of many hat tricks for Wayne Rooney hopefully!

March Results
View attachment 355953
Into the Semi Finals as we beat Ross County!

View attachment 355952
Huge win away to United as Origi scores the only goal.

View attachment 355951
A must win game and this performance is up there with last seasons win! Origi was fantastic and when Bartley was sent off I thought it was over for us but we kept fighting! Proud of my team, they were brilliant!

View attachment 355949
Vital win for us here as we're starting to hit a fantastic run at a great time as we have to catch Celtic!

View attachment 355948
Celtic's hopes for a treble are still on as they thrash St Mirren to win the League Cup but match stats suggest Celtic were just more clinical.

View attachment 355947
The month ends with another victory! We win all our league games in the month of March which is huge.

View attachment 355946
Two months to go now and with an Old Firm game still to play the league is all to play for! We will also meet Celtic in the Scottish Cup Semi Final! We'll aim for the double. We have also got a decent gap ahead of 3rd and 4th so the title will go to one of the Old Firm, It's going to be an exciting and tense last couple of months! Dundee also look as good as relegated in the league.

More updates to follow.

I forgot to mention in my last update about the departure of Barrie McKay to Middlesbrough for 600k.
mckay-2013-1.jpg

We start this update in April here's the results.

View attachment 355765
A big last couple of months ahead and we continue our great run in the league with a decent enough performance here.

View attachment 355764
The semi final day comes a round and in a pretty dull but even game we lose in the end! Hugely disappointing here as we've provided Celtic with a huge opportunity for Neil Lennon to win his first treble.

View attachment 355763
We bounce back against United to keep our title hopes alive.

View attachment 355762
Strong win over Hibs, Bell was injured and missed out but Stockdale came in and made some very important saves. There's a first Rangers goal for Tom Walsh which was pleasing.

View attachment 355761
At the end of April we're still three points behind our rivals with a match away to them next. Dundee are already relegated and will be back in the Championship next season.

View attachment 355760
Big players let us down in big games once again was very stressful! Celtic ran possession but chances were very much shared. It was a close game up until the red card so it is disappointing to lose this one.

View attachment 355753
Two games to go and we're six points behind Celtic, so realistically the league is over but not quite yet.

View attachment 355752
Despite a win here, Celtic win away at Hibs and clinch their first league title for two years.

View attachment 355751
The last day of the season arrives, with Lewis Buxton, Richard Foster, Steven Davis and Jassem Sukar's contracts up at the end of the season I start all three. It also looks likely that David Templeton will leave this summer so I decided to start him aswell. Another dreadful day against St Mirren means we end on a downer but it was a match that meant nothing, can't remember the last time I was happy after a match against St Mirren.

End of season report to follow.
