Hey guys and welcome to 2 new dominating tactics which have been nothing but impressing me in every phase from defending to attacking.

First off the tactic itself

this is an 4-2-2-1-1 tactic as seen from above and the basic principle for this is to stop the opposition from getting shots at goal and retain the ball as much as possible, NO it's not an possession tactic but it does provide fantastic triangle passing play from back to front and also puts extra pressure on the opposition without using any OI's.

to me this tactic has it all from Defending - Passing - Scoring - Intercepting - Conceding - and also my favourite, making the opponents ******** themselves ;)


MATCH TRAINING.



Pre-season - View attachment 360141 get the tactic as fluid as possible to get the best out of it.





Season - View attachment 360140 Keep this all the way through the season from first game till last.



RECOMMENDED PLAYER.

follow the tactic roles for what type of players you will need BUT for the striker I would highly recommend a striker with very good Speed, Finishing and Dribbling, it's not that important to be honest but if you want to see fantastic individual goal scoring or basically a Leo Messi what he does in real life then get these attributes up.

Do I need to say more :) superb goal tally considering this is more of a defensive style tactic and 71 goals in 27 games and only conceded 8 that's right 8 in the PL




and my GK Tim Krull spends most games sleeping View attachment 360134 21 clean sheets in 30 games in all competitions is just madness ;)


So guys there's 2 tactics to use one is for Short Passing and the other is for Direct Passing with high D-line and is wider.

Short is the main tactic then if your assistant recommends to play Direct then use the Direct one during game play.

also if complacently starts to set in use Direct for a few games this will confuse the opposition thinking you still use a shorter passing style tactic, top teams found this the hard way ;)


WARNING WARNING

since the tactic provide a good set of midfielder's and DM's give the tactic time for your new players to gel in because once they are fully gelled in they will kick up a **** storm :)

PLAYERS ATTRIBUTES YOU MUST LEARN.





DLP - D View attachment 359952 this duty is on defend once the attributes are good maybe 15 are over work on the Stamina - off the ball - First Touch but make sure for all DLP you have very good passing and Tackling attributes.




DLP - S View attachment 359947 same as above






WB - A View attachment 359946 once these are done work on there Balance - Passing - First Touch & Composure.







AP - A View attachment 359942 when done train them on Stamina - Finishing - Positioning - Tackling






AF -A View attachment 359939 when done work on there passing - First Touch & Stamina but don't forget to work extra hard on Dribbling and Finishing if you want your player to be like Messi IRL ( Running through and around players to score world class goals )




also don't forget creativity, this is an important Attribute to have for your DLP's and AP


UPDATES, PLAYER INSTRUCTIONS.


for your 2 DLP's on support put ( roam from position ) in the player instructions, this will provide open areas for your 2 DLP to receive the ball and to pass into deadly areas.

Short is the one that's my main tactic but the Direct can be very useful against certain teams, keep an lookout during game play when your Assistant manager recommends to play Direct

Hi nezza was wondering, should I tweak this tactic for second season or is it enough just rotating these 2 and AI won't crack it?
 
should the two central midfielders be actual deep lying play makers, or are you meant to put more box to box players in those positions

i'm guessing the two d mids are just defensive mids who have a bit of passing, but not sure what is ideal for the CM roles

rotate mate, most teams can't handle this tactic so I think it could be a every season tactic

if your conceding to many goals from set pieces try defending SP instead of attacking movement, Iv'e only had 1 goal against me from the corner but I guess playing against RM this would happen to every team

the 2 CM are DLP on support and the 2 DM are also DLP on defend this is crucial for keeping things compact also they intercept better than any midfield role, don't use Box to Box players because they simply don't do there jobs.

for example I have Sissoko and Iv'e used him as a BTB player but he was also the worse player on the pitch until I changed him to DLP and now he's nothing more than superb

also if you have new players give them time to gel in as stated on the op, you will see the tactic becoming better once the tactic is fluid and the players know each other better, also don't forget to change to Direct if team seem to get complacent
 
Formation similar to Artisans magic box, i liked that when it was first released. Really impressed with the defensive record. Will give it a go with Arsenal.

I loved Artisan 4-2-2-2 tactic but this tactic was from my New World Order 4-2-3-1 tactic, but saying that though I think it would be a good set up to have my Short & Direct tactic and also have his 4-2-2-2 to fill the slots, I remember creating a tweak version of Artisan 4-2-2-2 I think I might download it :)
