LEEDS SHAME

Leeds United fans, look away now as this article will reveal all that has happened to your club in the past 24 hours.

Scandals have emerged all over the club, from the boardroom all the way down to the players, and they aren't good.

Firstly, due to a fraud case, potential owner Massimo Cellini has been forced to opt out of buying Leeds and GFH still own the club.

Another boardroom court case has found that GFH are guilty of receiving third party-backing from none other than the Iranian government, which has violated not only FA laws, but laws enforced by the UN.

Brian McDermott has been sacked and banned from football for five ears due to a claim tat he tried to bribe referees on numerous occasions last season.

And five players have been arrested on suspicion of assault in a Leeds nightclub, no names have been released but Ross McCormack, Jimmy Kebe, Rodolph Austin, Luke Varney and Noel Hunt weren't seen in training today.

Leeds have a new manager in ex-pro Matthew Hawkins, but his inexperience is more cause for concern, especially with the club millions in debt and in administration.

The situation in West Yorkshire is pretty bleak.

Reaction on social media
@BantamsBoy1998-Hah, lol, dirty Leeds up to their eyeballs in debt, lol #LUFC #inthesh*t

@Carra23-A poor sight, always enjoyed games v Leeds, hope they get out of this #LUFC

@becchioluciano-Hopefully Leeds get out of this, good luck to new manager #LUFC

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Basically what I've done is put Leeds in a poor financial position, in administration, but given them decent facilities

AIMS
Stay in Championship
Promotion to Prem
Stay up
Get Europa League
Get Champions League
Win cups
Win Premier League
Win Champions League
Have a British starting XI
Don't spend much
Have at least 5 home grown players in starting XI

The Plan
Season 1-Try to stay up and keep as many players as possible
Season 2-Mid-table/Push for play-offs
Season 3-Promotion
Season 4-Stay up
Season 5-Consolidate

After that, I have no idea

That was Quick

August 1st

An eventful time at Leeds as two players are sold, the club is bought and the debt is restructured

ROSS McCORMACK TO WIGAN

View attachment 334870
Club captain and talisman Ross McCormack was sold to Wigan Athletic for a fraction of his true value as the club needed money, quickly

ADAM DRURY TO BARNSLEY

View attachment 334868
Adam Drury was then sold to Barnsley for pennies

But on the bright side, we were taken over by a consortium led by former Leeds United striker Noel Whelan

The debt has also been restructured and I've been given some money to play with

Shall I sign anyone? I like real power up front and could do with an addition there, there are also bids lined up for some of our players, what shall I do?

Haha, The club looks like it's in better financial position than it starts with in game by default. You got luck mate :)

Aim for 2-3 yers in the Championship so you can build a strong core otherwise all your work will be undone if ye get relegated form the Premiership and half the squad demands to leave.

Thanks for the reply, I think the 2-3 years thing is a good idea as the Leeds squad is a strange one, it has a few older players who are close to retirement and a few youngsters who need to develop with no middle ground

And I agree, I got very lucky, I hardly ever get decent takeovers in FM, this is the first time they've put money in

However I did put in a few extra debt when I made the file which means they'll have to be paid off as well

sign velios and mcaleney(AML) both from everton..i got both on loan and they got 30 goals between them as i got leeds promoted in teh 1st season..as i leeds fan i will read with interest

Wow, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone using the editor to GIVE themselves debt.
But regardless, good luck to you!
If you want, you can add me on Steam, so I can have someone to chat with while I FM too. xD

Thanks for the replies, I'll consider Vellios, but I'm aiming for British players and Matt Smith has started well for me

British players Jesse lingard, Shane ferguson, will keane, john souttar,Stuart Armstrong, lee Wallace

I've decided to invest the money I was given on a few youngsters and a big name striker to replace McCormack

AUGUST

Two League Cup games
Ok start in the league
Transfers

Sky Bet Championship
Leeds United 2-0 Brighton and Hove Albion
View attachment 334763
A perfect start to my career in management as we beat Brighton 2-0 at home, thanks to goal from an unlikely source in Tom Lees and a slightly more proven goalscorer, Noel Hunt.

League Cup First Round
Leeds United 5-1 Scunthorpe United
View attachment 334762
A routine win over League 2 Scunthorpe in the League Cup, Matt Smith and El-Hadji Diouf could have won the game on their own with their top quality performances, Aidan White also impressed

Sky Bet Championship
Leicester City 0-2 Leeds United
View attachment 334761
Leicester bring me down to earth with a bump as I lose my first televised game in management

Sky Bet Championship
Leeds United 2-0 Sheffield Wednesday
View attachment 334760
A routine win over our Yorkshire rivals as we stroll to victory, Tom Lees scores again!

Sky Bet Championship
Ipswich Town 1-0 Leeds United
View attachment 334759
We can't find consistency ad Stephen Warnocks late own goal resigned us to defeat

League Cup Second Round
Leeds United 3-0 Fleetwood Town
View attachment 334758
I must admit, I was worried that Fleetwood would beat us when we were drawing 0-0 at the break but goals from new signings Kirk Broadfoot and Simon *** sandwiched Luke Murphys tap in

Sky Bet Championship
Leeds United 0-0 QPR
View attachment 334757
Neither side could break the deadlock in this game as both lacked the creative spark of an attacking player, QPR came for a draw and got one

League Table
View attachment 334756
A decent start leaves us 12th in the table, three points off top team QPR

TRANSFER UPDATE

OUT

Luke Varney to Celtic for £575,000

View attachment 334385
Paid too much, getting old, not good enough, tara mate

Michael Brown to QPR for £58,000

View attachment 334384
He was getting paid a lot, getting on a bit and wasn't going to retire for at least another two years, he's Harrys problem now

INS

Luke Hyam from Ipswich for £2,000,000

View attachment 334382
Was signed to replace Rodolph Austin, but a £3,000,000 deal with West Ham fell through at the last second, regardless a top quality prospect has joned the ranks here in Leeds

Kirk Broadfoot from Blackpool for £1,000,000

View attachment 334380
Signed as competition for Tom Lees and Jason Pearce at the back, out-performing both of them

Lloyd Isgrove from Southampton for £2,600,000

View attachment 334379
The only wingers we have are an ageing Jimmy Kebe and El-Hadji Diouf, so I signed young Welshman Lloyd Isgrove from Southampton to offer some competition

Adam Reach from Middlesbrough for £3,500,000

View attachment 334378
Signed as Jimmy Kebe got injured and I was looking at signing him anyway

Simon *** from Nottingham Forest for £4,600,000

View attachment 334376
We lost McCormack, only have Matt Smith and Dominic Poleon as options, we needed someone

Danny Batth from Wolves for £1,100,000

View attachment 334375
I just think he's class

REVIEW-Overall a good transfer window where we signed a few players who will definitely play for their respective national teams in the future

Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been snowed under with homework at the moment but I should be updating again soon

SEPTEMBER
League Cup
Championship
New signing settling in

Sky Bet Championship

Bolton Wanderers 1-1 Leeds United
View attachment 334355
We should have won, we had enough chances and they were reduced to 10 men

Sky Bet Championship

Reading 0-1 Leeds United
View attachment 334354
A nice win, Byram scoring his first of the season, Isgrove out for a week or so

Sky Bet Championship

Leeds United 0-0 Burnley
View attachment 334353
Should be beating teams like this, we had the chances, but not the goalscorers

League Cup Third Round
Southampton 2-2 Leeds United
Southampton win 17-16 on penalties

View attachment 334352
Yes, you read right, 17-16 to Southampton, a brave fightback from the lads and their efforts can't be faulted

Sky Bet Championship

Millwall 2-2 Leeds United
View attachment 334351
Can't believe we let this slip, fuming, Diouf has been player of the season so far

View attachment 334239

View attachment 334238
It's not a loss, but it's not a win either, meh

Sky Bet Championship
Huddersfield Town 1-0 Leeds United
View attachment 334237
I talked big before the match, but was left feeling like the smallest manager in the league after Rory Donellys 63rd minute goal

LEAGUE TABLE
View attachment 334236

Mid-table, much better than the projected position of 24th

REVIEW-A decent month where we picked up 7 out of 12 points
