Football Manager 2009 Not Working

If i play fm and quit it then switch off my laptop when i come to turn on my laptop and play fm then it doesnt show and when i click on the shortcut for a second time it says "Football Manager 2009 is already running" when i cant see it on the taskbar

Any help appreciated
 
Yeh this happend to me once be4 all i did was turn my pc off for around 20 min and it was sorted
 
It sounds like its in the process of loading.
 
football manager does this on my netbook, but i thibk this may be becasue i have incompatible processor or something. it comes up with the already running msg and appears in the task manager but it wont come up. i thought it was laoding so left it for 10 hours, nothing.


as you have played it already im not sure what youir prob is
 
Well similar things have happened to me before with itunes and stuff and all i did was turn my PC off completly for 10 mins and then re boot and it worked fine.

i turned off my laptop for like 20 minutes and when i turned it back on Success it worked thanks for the help guys
 
No point Alt + Ctr;+ Del open up task manager go across to processes fm.exe then end process. Easy as 1, 2, 3 ! (keeping up the Mj tributes)

Okay then but I added the Mj tribute so mine is better (H)
