Transfer Embargo?!

The board have recently placed a transfer embargo on the club because they are in talks of a take-over!! Has this happened to anyone before and if so, how long did it last for. I am worried because the transfer window coming up in 5 weeks and i am away to get promoted to the prem :D and my team won't be able to handle it. I have attatched a screenie so you can check it out. cheers :D

it happend to me wen i was reading and i got promoted i couldnt buy any1 for a year

it could take 1month or a year / depens if ur lucky
 
i kno it very annoying but u will be luck i think maybe only a month or sumtin

Same here at liverpool on the 9.2 or 3 patch when hick sold up. Missed all of Jan, Had to play reserves as backups.
 
it usually only takes 1 month 2 5 wks,a had a takeover at newcastle was great gave me 70 million 2 spend on players to finish top half of prem, also had one at rangers they took over put 50m into the club but only gave me 2.5 m 2 spend and expected win yhe league and last 8 champs league
 
I had one for about 2 weeks, then new owner gave me a 100m budget and pumped 200m into Liverpool and cleared all debts, so its not all bad eh?;)
 
You black out your name but it's still clear your Manager's name is Paddy Keith... :S
 
When i was Plymouth i was taken over, i had a transfer embargo for 2 months but in the end my new chairman gave me £30M so its all good =]
 
You can be lucky and it will take 1-2 weeks, anything more than a month though will put you into trouble if you need players.

and the transfer embargo has been lifted so its all good :D

It says a 'Fan's trust' is taking over?
Good or bad?

this is the worse takeover you can get as compared to consortium/tycoon. basically, i got nothing, so i doubt you'll get any $ as well :'(
 
Oh man :(
that's so annoying...I got nothing in thr opening window and was hoping for some wonga :'(
Is there a way to get a good takeover every time?
