Hello,
I've had a mixed start to the season, pre-season was up and down low point being losing 4 - 0 to the U21's! and high of winning 8 - 0 against FC Twente. Season also started mixed with up and down results.
Control - Fluid
the tactic is a 4-3-3 DM
Full backs - support
CD - Defend
Def mid - Def
AP - S
BBM - S
Winger - S
IF - A/S
CF/TM
Instructions:
Retain possession
Short passing
Pass into space
Work ball out of defense
Hit early crosses
Whipped crosses
Push higher up
Close down more
Stay on feet
Prevent GK distribution
Lower Tempo
Are these too many for the style i'm trying to play ? (Possession based football)
Firstly my strikers Pelle and Dybala are not doing anything relevant other than losing the ball or playing a miniscule part during attacks, I've tried Pelle as a Target man and Dybala as a Complete forward, both to no-avail. I want tactical flexibility as in Home games and games where I am considered favorite to win, I would most likely be playing Dybala as a Complete forward or something else you guys can recommend, and in tough away fixtures to play Pelle as the sole Target man striker. Should both have different roles or should I wait it out for a bit longer to see if they pick it up ?
Also I was wondering whether it is better to have a AP or a RPM in Midfield, the two midfielders vying for that spot are Ward-Prowse and Nemanja Gudelj. Lastly for the Def mid spot I have Wanyama and Lucas Romero, I was wondering is it better to have a Regista (Romero) Def Mid (Wanyama).
I was wondering if anyone can provide help with a Two striker formation to accommodate both Dybala and Pelle. Atm I have produced but not used a 4-2-2-2.
FB's- S
CD - D
BWM - D
BBM - S
W - S
IF - S
CF - A
TM - S
Any advice on roles, positioning or a new formation to accommodate them both would be greatly appreciated
Any help on the above would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
