Substitute Michael Owen scores in the sixth minute of injury time to earn Manchester United a stunning derby win.

Bit of a joke really. Don't know why there was 4 minutes of stoppage time and then another 2 :S

Substitution made and a goal scored in injury time... you could argue that warranted the additional 2 minutes.

Personally I don't think it would have happened at Eastlands.

i agree with you billy

WHat bit do you agree with, the bit about the added time being justified or it wouldn't happen at City's ground?

Personally i thought we were lucky to get the goal late on, but im not complaining, i thought we deserved to win the game.

yeah man u did, but there was loads of added time when there was only meant to be 4 mins

Ye, we were lucky in that sense but we deserved to win and im not complaining :p

yeah i know, they did deserve to win, but they wouldn't have if it had not been for the extra 2 mins

that's all

Hughesy was fuming,he should realise this sort of thing has happened at old trafford for years now, he benefited enough from it as a player and didnt seem to mind.

to be fair if it wasnt for given united would probably of scored much earlier.

united did deserve to win.

we can never win without people slagging ous or making excuses

well, a goal in added time by bellamy adds about 90 secounds and 1 sub adds about a minute so it was fair

Well firstly, it wasn't 90 seconds for the goal it was 55, doesn't mean it should be added on, secondly the substitution was 15 seconds, so your calculations don't add up.

Don't no why people are having ago the game is over man utd won and there is nothing any one can do the ref must of added time on for a reason

No. A goal is 60 seconds & a sub is 30 seconds, United scored on 95.26 so that gives them a 4 second gap.

Lets be honest though, if it was the other way round and City scored instead of United, Fergie would see to it that the ref would never officiate a match at Old Trafford again.

well. the rules the refs follow are tht, for every sub made add, 30 secounds on, and for every sub made in added time add a minute on, to stop timewasting. the goal celebration went on for ages

The game is over guys man Utd won end off

I know what you mean. I was watching it on SopCast and as soon as I saw the clock just carry on going I was thinking: "Of course... Old Trafford. There is going to be a Man U goal"
