Wenger 'needs to win silverware'

Arsene Wenger wont ever be sacked by Arsenal. Before Arsene Arsenal were an up and down team, they would win the league one season then finish 13th for the next 18 then win the league again. Wenger has brought stability to Arsenal and turned them into one of the worlds top clubs. It is only because Wenger has turned Arsenal into this, that he is now expected to win trophies.
Don't get me wrong i would love to finally see a trophy come back to Arsenal, but even if Wenger does fail again this season, i would not want him to leave.
Wenger has not only brang stability to the club, he was the first manager to reform the training and dietary system at Arsenal. He turned Arsenals football into flowing attractive football. If Arsenal are not the best team in the world, then they certainly PLAY the best football in the world.
For Arsenal he has won 3 league titles coming runners up on 5 occasions.
4 FA Cup wins and one runners up.
4 Community Shields, 2 runners up.
Runners up in also Carling Cup with his youth squad, Uefa Cup and Champions Leauge.
Arsene Wenger also has an eye for great talent, alot of people put this down to a good scouting system, but Wenger himself has been said to go and scout players HIMSELF during pre season. Wenger was the first to bid for Cristiano Ronaldo and Petr Cech, but Arsenal would not offer Ronaldo the right contract and Cech's work permit never came through. This is not to mention other greats at Arsenal, Henry, Vieira, Pires, Ljungberg, Fabregas, Overmars, Anelka and so on. He has an immense eye for a bargain, Toure for 150k, Clichy for 250k and so on. Wenger keeps the prices low and sells high.
He has turned Arsenal into one of the richest clubs in the world also.
This is why Arsene Wenger will not be sacked if he doesn't win a trophy this year.

To be fair i think last year their was obvioulsy one team playing a lot better football, excluding manchester united of course
