So I've recently set myself the challenge of doing an FM Save with Arsenal WITHOUT using a downloaded tactic and completely making my own, I feel this will make the game a lot more fun and rewarding, but I didn't realise how hard it would actually be to create my own successful tactic. I've created about 20 saves persisting at it using different tactics but just finding it possible to create a tactic that is consistent and will be succesful. I usually get about 5 - 10 games and lose too many games and I just lose my temper. Am I being unrealistic and should I persist? Or is it down to my tactics overall?

T
his is the formation and starting eleven I am planning on playing with:

These are the player instructions I am using:

For player instructions I havent selected many, the only ones I've selected are:
GK: Distrubute to Full Backs
CM D: Pass it shorter
DLP D: More direct passes
AML: Shoot less often (Depay takes too many shots) and thats it.

So that's the full details of the main tactic I wan't to use. Hopefully you will offer some key advice that will help my improve it and tell me where I've gone wrong/right, because at the moment every single tactic I try just isn't giving me the success I expect, thankyou

You're gonna get hit with alot of useless info in long posts here soon mate. If you really want to start creating your own tactics I suggest you have an idea of how you want your team to play. Then read these two guides.

That's good advice. Read those 2 threads as they will help with the basics. Any more problems and we can assist.
