Slowest game ever! Help!

I have downloaded the game using Steam. Everything about the game seems to go very very slow! I have a good graphics cards and a decent laptop. I have never had any problems with any of my other games or last years 09 version so why is the 2010 so slow?

Anyone got any ideas on how to fasten the game up or even why it is slow on mine?

Please help!

Also is there a way when going into a match to NOT having it automatically start on live match? I usually watch using split screen

Maybe load less league and have a smaller database.?

And when you go into a match it should say Match Controls before you start click that and then click view match and pick classic view.

on your desktop background press ctrl alt and delete click on applications that will bring up fm10 right click it then it will say go to process then fm10 will be highlighted right click that and it will say set priorit go to high

beleive me this works it makes fm run really fast

when i did it, it poped up saying changing priority can cause system unstability - shall i still do it?
