Alex Ferguson Steps Down Due To Health Reasons

Sky Sports have just reported that Manchester United have had to let go of their manager Alex Ferguson due to ill health. It Is Reported that rookie manager Tobey Mason will take over at the helm with Sir Alex acting as joint assistant manager with Mike Phelan.

When asked how he "felt" by a Sky Sports reporter Tobey Mason Had this To Say...

"I am extremely lucky to be presented with this opportunity, I am ecstatic and feel like all my Christmas' have come at once. I am so pleased that Sir Alex is staying on as he represents the life an soul of this club. His influence will still be strongly admired and taken into every aspect of the clubs future.

A reporter for The Sun asked "how and what" Tobey Mason would "change at the club that can benefit the team in the future"

"I'm lucky enough to have inherited what I believe to be the best team in the world. Sir Alex built this team to reach new found glory
I believe I can lead us all the way. I have looked at the squad and am happy enough with it. Although I may try and sign an experienced strong striker and some young players may go out on loan."

The telegraph reporter asked... " Who will be your key players this year and how will you get the best out of them".

"I am looking to players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, David Villa and Wayne Rooney to drive us forward and score
important goals. We have a lot of pace up front and on the wings so I will be trying to adopt some fast passing and quick thinking training. John Terry, Rio Ferdinand Davide Santon and Patrice Evra are my lions at the back who I will be asking to risk life and limb to help shutout the goals. There are also some youngsters who I think can break into the first team... Nicolas Lodeiro being an example"

So with things settling back down to normal in Manchester the rest of the world will have to wait and see how Mr. Mason copes being the new boss in town.

Beattie?

Sky Sports has been going into a frenzy all day as it seems Man Utd have bought James Beattie!!


With hundreds of reporters outside of Carrington (Man Utd training ground) James Beatties' four by four had
to drive around to the back entrance due to the gigantic mass of people. Man Utd manager Tobey Mason met him
and they both entered the complex.

About 45mins later Tobey Mason left the building and spoke to Sky Sports exclusively...

Tobey Mason said.. "It's true that I have been looking for a strong striker with plenty of experience. I am a keen
admirer of James and I think he will fit right into our team. people may think that he doesn't meet our clubs
criteria, so im asking for those people to wait and let him at least show off his capabilities on the pitch."

After Mr. Masons interview James Beattie exited the training ground complex wearing a Man Utd shirt.



When asked James Beattie stated... " This is an honour I have always dreamed about playing in europe and for a team like
this and to be honest I never thought I would. I practically bit Mr. Mason's arm off when he offered me the opportunity."

He Contunued by saying... I know people will think i'm too old or that I don't deserve this chance, I just ask that they will
as least give me a chance and not to already judge me as a failure.
